John-r Posted September 7, 2025 Posted September 7, 2025 Any stockists in Ireland, or are these books only from the UK, thanks.
Mol_PMB Posted September 7, 2025 Posted September 7, 2025 I bought the earlier volumes from the RPSI, I imagine they will have this one as well in due course. 1
jhb171achill Posted September 7, 2025 Posted September 7, 2025 Looking forward to seeing this. Michael's photography is superb, as was his eye for the unusual. 2 1

Thereโs also something of an apostolic succession of Irish railway writing here. Michael was a big support to Mac Arnold in his final years, and has since taken up the torch of recording Irish railways and their peopleย 2
ttc0169 Posted September 7, 2025 Posted September 7, 2025 Duly ordered from the transport treasury.ย 2
John-r Posted September 8, 2025 Posted September 8, 2025 Thanks for the suggestions lads, if I was to order from the UK, or the RPSI in the North, will I have to pay vat, import duties, or customs clearance charges, not sure about how this works, thanks.
seagoebox Posted September 8, 2025 Posted September 8, 2025 no extra charges, just postage if you order from the RPSI in Belfast.... 1

I will bring a stock of Michael's books over with me to Blackrock, as we have been "left" copies of Rolls 1 and 2 and might as well make up the set! No postage, face price. 2

Tractionman Posted September 28, 2025 Author Posted September 28, 2025 I'm enjoying my leafing through the book on this sunny Sunday morning, especially drawn to page 23 and a picture of A class 003 with a short train of fuel tanks and bubbles, inspiration. Plus the inside back cover mentions a forthcoming volume 4, in 2026. Excellent ย 3 1

Cheers Darius My copy of Part 4 of the IRR series by Michael McMahon arrived yesterday, lovely book, great production values, clear photos and highly informative captions especially on the formations of passenger stock in the first part of the book which I find really useful for modelling.
