John-r Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Any stockists in Ireland, or are these books only from the UK, thanks.
Mol_PMB Posted September 7 Posted September 7 I bought the earlier volumes from the RPSI, I imagine they will have this one as well in due course. 1
jhb171achill Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Looking forward to seeing this. Michael's photography is superb, as was his eye for the unusual. 2 1

There’s also something of an apostolic succession of Irish railway writing here. Michael was a big support to Mac Arnold in his final years, and has since taken up the torch of recording Irish railways and their people 2
John-r Posted September 8 Posted September 8 Thanks for the suggestions lads, if I was to order from the UK, or the RPSI in the North, will I have to pay vat, import duties, or customs clearance charges, not sure about how this works, thanks.
seagoebox Posted September 8 Posted September 8 no extra charges, just postage if you order from the RPSI in Belfast.... 1

Haulier Posted September 8 Posted September 8 Books imported into Ireland from outside the EU are not liable to either CUSTOMS DUTY or VAT. 1 1

I will bring a stock of Michael's books over with me to Blackrock, as we have been "left" copies of Rolls 1 and 2 and might as well make up the set! No postage, face price. 2

Tractionman Posted September 28 Author Posted September 28 I'm enjoying my leafing through the book on this sunny Sunday morning, especially drawn to page 23 and a picture of A class 003 with a short train of fuel tanks and bubbles, inspiration. Plus the inside back cover mentions a forthcoming volume 4, in 2026. Excellent 3 1
