David Holman Posted Monday at 06:59 Author Posted Monday at 06:59 Hmm... not sure to be honest. Might just need a bit of getting used to. Wonder what a whole train of these will look like alongside the black ones? Rather emphasises how big a tension lock is compared to three/screw links. If only the world had standardised on the buckeye! Life would be a lot simpler as we'd all be using Kadees. 3 Quote

For coaching stock, yes. For freight, it might be a bit different. The Accurascale semi-transparent couplings could have gone further, and been made fully-transparent. Maybe something could also have been done to reduce the massive gap between coupled vehicles. 2 Quote
Galteemore Posted Monday at 10:31 Posted Monday at 10:31 Reminds me of an idea that briefly blazed a trail when I was a British N gauge modeller. In some ways this worked because the whole thing was transparent. 2 2 Quote
David Holman Posted Monday at 21:47 Author Posted Monday at 21:47 That makes sense, because N gauge couplers are a real eyesore, especially in smaller stock. Terriers, 03 shunters and the like seem dwarfed by them. 2 Quote
jhb171achill Posted Monday at 22:43 Posted Monday at 22:43 The Hattons Genesis stock have gaps between them which must be about 8 scale feet..... 1 Quote
