Mayner Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 The graphite smoke box makes a real difference, really brings the loco to life!
Mike 84C Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 USRA light 2-10-2? that looks really good. My critic Mrs 84C also thinks its a wowser! Where are you going to display it? 'cos thats what it needs.
A4mallard Posted September 15, 2016 Author Posted September 15, 2016 (edited) Mike 84C, It's a light because I went with the smaller tender, it started as a heavy but I am no expert. Thank the Mrs. The engine by itself is in and around 1/12th scale and currently weighs in at 2 & 1/2 stone without the tender. It still needs a s**t load of piping and fittings. I'm a bit short on piping materials at the moment which is why I started the tender. I'm working on the bogies at present I'll post pics when they look a bit better. I'd like to display it on a small trestle bridge with 30 wagons and a caboose:D thanks for the comments regards Bren Edited September 15, 2016 by A4mallard
