Noel Posted August 19, 2021 Posted August 19, 2021 (edited) Sad to see weeds growing out of the roof of that iconic building. Maintenance? Edited August 19, 2021 by Noel 1

Too modern for a fussy oul fossil like me, Bandon Tank! (But, now, if it WAS an actual Bandon tank, now that would be a different kettle o'fish!) 1 1
DiveController Posted August 19, 2021 Posted August 19, 2021 It does look a bit like a tank ......... 1 1

DJ Dangerous Posted September 30, 2021 Posted September 30, 2021 (edited) Are the 29's running in two different liveries concurrently? Edited September 30, 2021 by DJ Dangerous

Yes, and have been since Methusalah was learning her spellings….! Roughly half of the fleet remain in the old livery. Quite a few still have the old “three pin plug” logo, as well as the new “origami” one. 1 1

the Bandon tank Posted September 30, 2021 Posted September 30, 2021 I have to agree, I really like them to. 2

At the risk of straying into religion, Methuselah was not a 'her'. Say ten Hail Mary's and you stand a chance of slightly less time in Purgatory. 2

Galteemore Posted September 30, 2021 Posted September 30, 2021 (edited) Isn’t this what proper Dublin suburban looks like? And closer to Methuselah’s time, too….in all seriousness, I’d love to see a retro livery on these things. As a kid, the old CIE livery had a pleasing resemblance to a liquorice allsort….would love to see it again. Edited September 30, 2021 by Galteemore 4 2
jhb171achill Posted October 1, 2021 Author Posted October 1, 2021 Yes, superb stuff! And I too was (am) a big fan of liquorice allsorts..... 1
jhb171achill Posted October 30, 2021 Author Posted October 30, 2021 Saw a few customer pipes today. Amiens St Station, GNR.
