Same here. I did not want to mention it before TBH. The Weedspray flats derail when going over points as the A Class scoops up the first bogie set when reversing. I'll see If I can Video it later. I think the 201 is the same as it has a droopy long coupling. Over all not a great fan of the couplings on much of the Irish stuff with bogies TBH, They do not like recentering on most stock with bogies, Mk.2 especially. Ugh. Its not like I can pop down to the LMS and pick up some packets of Kaydees, Its either post from Europe with postage Order from the UK extra 3.50 for the pleasure of clearance plus postage.

Going to loft now......could do with a Sea Kayak, 3 of these babies and sorted!

If only they could get the stuff, Order a Doublo MN and W1 from Marks, No show. Never got the MN and had to order the W1 from the UK. Its a bit hit and miss TBH. Maybe not Marks Fault as shops in the UK had problems too but does not give me much Confidence. Popped into the Cork shop the other day, Woeful stock from Paints, Glues, Rolling Stock etc... as I said before massive opportunity there for him.

Another 2 Parkside Vans on the go. Decals on the CCT and order a set for the other van. Missing 2 buffers for the CCT and Peco said they will post these out to me The CCT had a nasty twist on the Chassis so some Hornby old rails were cut and glued in place lengthwise and then other rails were soldered width wise whilst sitting on a glass tile. You can just see them through the window! Nice a level now a, Interiors painted and lead cut up and glued down, They both run nice and will be a nice add on for my parcels train. -

Work on the small bits still on going, the Deadline of a year slipped by but now rush now. Still waiting for the sound unit and year later..... thing is with doing something different is the new things you learn, I am making these things now, Called Kites. Used on the Sweeping line to get it down deep. Scratch built plasticard and some chain. Simple. Now need another 2 to make. -
For around 2 quid not worth the hassle but if this was something with a larger price and they did not convert from USD to EUR then this would be worrying for sure.

Any chance of moving to Ireland John, Might make things a bit cheaper post wise!!

I'll kick this off, There is another picture somewhere 1971 of me on a Footplate but this will have to do for now. Horsted Keynes 1972. Possibly still my favourite station in the UK. Love the subway, love the Waiting room having a sup while steamers pass by...Signal is gone now and this of course was the limit of the line back then, how they have blossomed. Wonder how my Southern Interest Started...then this is it I reckon.

Does not give any information though Tony on if it is prepaid or not, Technically if there is no postage fee or incoterms noted we would have to add that on to our customs entry. maybe the same here too.

Well she has been running all day , not to bad now in all fairness, Bit of a Growl from the Motor still so might investigate that at some stage. Went to put on the extra details parts, the front coupling hook was actually rusty, The Other Cylinder Steam pipes, long version were not in the bag either. Little vid of it bombing along as well. Well Kernow have confirmed I was right so there exports should be ok from here. Looks like the coms did not get all the way to the person that needed it.

Taric is for Europe John. you might be on the HTS set up there.

Hi Folks, In the end had to obtain one from Blighty as the LMS could not confirm or Deny the one I ordered was coming in. Ah well. As per previous mail Kernow had the wrong code but that was sorted and no duty applied. In fact Vat was underpaid too but hey I am not complaining! You may of read the tales of woes with this loco with damage to the smoke deflectors being a major really unfixable one so I was expecting the worst when I open the box. I did the quick rattle test and all seemed ok, However upon opening I noticed the Tender Coupling drawbar was at an unusual angle and a few bit of plastic fell out of the packaging along with a foot step (See pic 2) . Balls. I did not fancy sending it back as you will have issues with customs and the replacement one coming back would not doubt be subject to another 50 slobs of taxes.(One of the benefits of dealing with Local shops) so a quick appraisal on the damage , Small bit of plastic tubing to hand and some Superglue I had it fixed and in action. See pic 3. Not a great runner at this time and she is still running in. This should of been a stunner really but I feel it is more of a dealz type loco give various other issues like the running plate being warped over the cylinders and the plastic fittings well just look plastic. And of course the last wheel set of the rear Trailing truck the wheels don't touch the track so does not move.... This is for me Dads shelf anyhow so wont be on my layout for long.

Knock Knock, who is there....

I don't mind the Multi packs if they keep the price down, I am lucky to be able to have the sponds to get these. Good idea in buying a pack a flogging the rest. The multi packs are grand for the long trains for sure. And that's probably the main issue for me and others is space and the Length of the Irish Trains, so has me thinking about Modelling and how to Model an Irish layout properly. Ie Mk.3 lengths and block trains but thats my own issue!! Grand with a 141 and a few cravens to muck about with. but even a Large 12ft layout with proper rake of Mk.3's looks daft.

If you buy Railway stuff you are fine, Other toys etc would have to be declared under their own codes and duty applied if need be. and this is a year on....Man Alive.
