Welcome to my world. DCC is witch-craft.

What the Hell were they thinking of, putting the N on the front of the retro livery loco? And what does the N even signify anyway?

Murphaph has helped me track down a few bargains over the years, too. Bang on! Is that not the blanking plate?

Canarian Container Anorak
DJ Dangerous replied to DJ Dangerous's topic in Photos & Videos of the Prototype
I saw these two lovely CMA-CGM boxes parked by Decathlon in La Laguna on March 8th this year. Already posted elsewhere on the forum but better off here, too. -
Canarian Container Anorak

That's 'cause nobody knows where the handbrake is in a Canarian car. -
I sometimes see containers down here, which at a glance look familiar, but on closer inspection tend to be palletwides etc, so I thought I'd start posting photos of what I see... Saw this in Adeje Casco today:

HYA/IIA And Cutdown HYA Update October 2021
DJ Dangerous replied to Warbonnet's topic in British Outline Modelling
Is that graffiti or commissioned? I can't tell. If they did that to a DART, I wouldn't complain! -
Mmmmmmh, chocolatey.

Mk2D's first would make sense, assuming that the tooling still exists. Mk3's would have to be built from the ground up. Great that IRM will be stocking them, yay!

IRM released an accurately weathered silver A Class... A55...

Lovely lighting, too!

Amazing versatility on Tara Junction. Hide the orange stock and the setting looks thirty years newer! Outstanding!

Two years later, it looks like these will be out soon! https://www.hattons.co.uk/stocklist/1000396/1000590/1000640/1000833/dapol_o_gauge_1_43_scale_steam_locos_northern_ireland/sceneprodlist

New Announcement - New Improved Fert Wagons at Lower Prices!
DJ Dangerous replied to Warbonnet's topic in News
Just to clarify, I wasn't complaining! Not in the slightest. Several times, many times in fact, I've seen the postage labels and I know that IRM have paid more for postage than they have charged me. Just adding the info in case it helps. VAT price for me, I have to check. It was something like €90,85. -
New Announcement - New Improved Fert Wagons at Lower Prices!
DJ Dangerous replied to Warbonnet's topic in News
The VAT and ex-VAT prices have always displayed higher for me. I had assumed that it was a small surcharge to go towards postage costs or whatever, or else that IRM work backwards from the Irish VAT price for customers abroad. For example, for Germany, they take 19% (German MwST) off the Irish VAT price, and then add 23% on, instead of the other way around. For me, they take 21% (Spanish IVA) off the Irish VAT price, and either add 23%, or don't add anything on. €73,86 is also the ex-VAT price for me, so I dunno. Again, it's always been this way, and I kind of assumed that it was just the way it had to be.
