That weathering looks excellent, really brings out the detail! Were the A's and 141's the only classes to have the hybrid ST / Ir livery?

Those photos will be great for the IRM lads!

Why wasn't it a light green IRM truck cab? Very disappointed! -
They're classics at thsi stage!!! YOU TOOK NO. 9 OUT OF THE BOX FOR THE PHOTO!!!!! That can't be undone! Mine has never been run, only out of the box to be seen. Sadly, my R792 was a gift when I was three or four years old, so the packaging only survived fifteen or twenty years, and the train itself did a lot of mileage. Of the set, only no. 99 and the Shell tank wagon survived the fire back in 2015 that destroyed a lot of stuff, and she doesn't run so well since.

Into one or onto one? They'll be breathtakingly beautiful for those future modellers!

When is your book on the revolutionary 22000's and the breathtakingly beautiful and diverse 29000's due out?

Been watching the pop-up notifications on the IRM site, as I have such exciting Saturday nights... The IR livery A Classes are flying out now that A39R and A23R are out of stock. IR livery 054 is already out of stock and 036 is not far behind her, both being the day-glow panel versions. IR livery 017 without the day-glow panels will be next on the chopping block! We need another run of Container Liners for those IR livery A Classes. Are orders being shipped purely based on payment date (or order date?), or is geography being taken into account, for example domestic orders ship first? My stuff usually takes a long time either way, so I'm used to everything being "mañana", never a rush...

Fabulous!!! Something so lovely about a 121 pushing a Mk3 push-pull set like that. I see some lovely looking buses on that bridge! Ordered mine two weeks ago, but shipping to Las Canarias is problematic... Maybe next month!

Just received the first half of my MCW Metrorider order today! Thanks to An Post being the cluster-duck that they are, it has taken just over five months, but some of them have finally arirved! They are nowhere near as bad as @Warbonnet's example - he really wanted to show the worst of the worst so that nobody could be disappointed. These are lovely little buses, and one of them is down to around twenty units left! The other one has no stock counter but I'd assume that they're also limited, so get them while they're hot, folks!

StarTrain / TopTrain also produced an N Gauge version!

Fantastic to read this. Congratulations to everybody at IRM, and their ever-growing team. You deserve both awards, and then some. This right here! Apart from the quality of the models themselves, this sets you apart from everybody else. Nobody does customer interaction like IRM! Don't you mean a Class 319 "Retales", distant cousin to the 071???

So you're saying that we need a 29000 next?
-
I like the way you mention Mk4's first and Tin Vans last!

That's awesome! So apart from being stunning looking no matter what, they wear two shades of beauty! Can't wait for a model of them.

Are the 29's running in two different liveries concurrently?

I reckon that a lot of blame lies with An Post. They are not capable of dealing with the logistics industry as it is today, not capable of training their staff, not capable of dealing with changes, and are generally still living in the eighties. As an anecdote, shipping from Ireland to Las Canarias was suspended in March 2020 due to Coronavirus. Shipping resumed three months later when we came out of lockdown and the flights started arriving. (Yes, we've been out of lockdown since June 2020). However, since then, the An Post website says that no shipping is available to Las Canarias. Yet if you walk into an actual An Post office, and they will send the stuff down here no problem. That's a year and a half that their website is out of date, and they have been contacted numerous times by various senders. If they can't get something that simple correct, how on earth will they survive BrExit, customs, VAT etc???
