  1. According to the HM video in my previous post, the teaks don't suffer any of the faults in the previous two liveries. Hatton's have the ones from the dodgy batches marked very clearly. The only complaint that the HM guys had was that they left the coaches out in the sun and one started melting. Still, at two thirds off, even if a few bits fall off, it's like a 99% completed kit for less than Murphy Models OO Gauge coaches go for.

  3. C-Rail parcel arrived today - @Arran, these are the dog's danglies!
  4. I think that I uploaded a video of @Mayner's brake vans to YT and there were some Dapols in the rake, but not fully sure, and don't want to go spamming the forum by sharing again. First set of decals from @Weshty went missing in the post so a fresh batch were sorted five or six months ago, and they'll go on when they get here.
  5. Lovely West Cork shade of green, don't be complaining!
  6. Take care, and best of luck with the move.
  7. Too late, I've already commissioned a load from them! Exactly what I did. Like £5 or £6 each, something like that.
  8. HM Review of the coaches and a running session:
  9. Unless Denis knows where he lives!
  10. Lovely stuff! I've picked up one or two of these at similar prices with exactly the same thing in mind.
  11. You mean get "around" to it?
  12. Hatton's O Gauge Gresley coches for £89 each! Have to be a dummy not to buy even one for the mantlepiece. https://www.hattons.co.uk/directory/versiondetails/3257/hattons_originals_o_lner_gresley_teak
  13. What sort of prices do they normally go for? I'm ignorant as to Provincial Wagons commissions, and much as I'd love one or two box vans, those prices seem a little high to me.
  14. LOL, so do half the forum as I've bought stuff from nearly everybody, but good luck actually finding the place after you've travelled 3500km!
  15. It wasn't, but when I saw you ask about it, I quickly 'phoned him and bought it, just to spite you. Mwah ha ha ha ha haaaaaa!
  16. This is the end of Tara Junction, enter three months of chipper puns. Hope TTC doesn't get salty over it.
  17. Ah man. I was looking for a chipper somewhere on the platform, selling all kinds of deep-fried goodness.
  18. Hey, watch your mouth, Pal. He's only posted those photos five or ten times before.
  19. Wait, I'm getting a better one. Something like "Ocean Froggie's Often Fanciful Open Favourites", but with one or two words swapped for something meaning Workbench!
  20. That's my point. To damage it that badly on the outside, the inside may not last long. Hence I'd view it as a donor for parts or as a restautation project. I assume that Paddy's new ones will hit the shelves this year or next at €190 or €200 odd, which should also be taken into consideration.
  21. I was just being awkward while giving the thread a well-deserved free bump. Hand delivey to me would be a 7000km round trip.
  22. Yeah, I read the description alright, but the photos show damaged bodywork, wierd buffers and several chunks missing out of the handrails. Taking all of that into consideration, it would be fair to assume that it's been drop-kicked a few times. I have one that was attacked by Catzilla, fell from 1,1m onto hard tiles and hasn't got a blemish. So to have so many bits damaged, you know.....
