  1. Is that photo from the Open Day last May?
  2. Following on from these two posts by @228RiverOwenboy; " 144 was scrapped in March 2022, I'm unsure about 162, 171, 177 and 147... I can only assume that 162 would be next, as it's in the worst condition of them all. " "I believe so! They were the last 141s in service, with 171 being the last 141 to have been ever used in mainline service (Nov 2011?), and 162 being used to shunt B113 at Inchicore when it was being moved to Cultra in late 2011 " ...and looking at Google Maps just now, does anybody have photos, videos or info on the remaining 141's at Inchicore?
  3. Wonder if An Post would give me a good rate for all four.
  4. So there are four 141's sitting at Inchicore, free for the taking?
  5. Incredible detail on the rivets... Speaking of, how many rivets are there?
  6. Could you SHOUT THAT A BIT LOUDER, please?
  7. LOL, who mentioned paying for them??? Excellent. Should be roaming free by now. Hopefully available for some freelance work.
  8. Do you think they'd notice if somebody lifted them back out one night and dropped them to Maam Cross?
  9. Quick question regarding the Loyalty Rewards: I'm assuming that the answer is no, but can Loyalty Reward points be used towards an existing order that has been placed using partial.ly? I have two IR livery Mk2A/B/C coach orders still pending payment, both placed using partial.ly.
  10. Hi All. I'm looking for the following two IRM buses: CitySwift no. 13A https://irishrailwaymodels.com/collections/exclusive-irm-buses/products/copy-of-dublin-bus-cityswift-13a RailLink no. 90 https://irishrailwaymodels.com/collections/exclusive-irm-buses/products/dublin-bus-rail-link-volvo-rv-class-olympian-rv517 Also interested in any of the older BritBus Dublin buses, if anybody has any to spare. I DO know a man, but think that he may possibly be all bussed out at the moment... Thanks!
  11. I assume it displays in the buyer's local currency by default. @Fowler4f has successfully ordered from the Sunny Uplands filled with Unicorns. EDIT: IRM's .com and .co.uk sites, like the Accurascale .com and .eu sites, all require different accounts, so you may need to set up a new account if your email address is not returning any hits.
  12. You should be able to order them from the IRM website: https://irishrailwaymodels.com/collections/park-royal-coaches I'm open to correction here, but I believe that your order will be VAT free, with the VAT payable locally on receipt of your coaches.
  13. Beautiful, and you even have the detail pack!
  14. Make sure the tent is big enough for the layout!
  15. My money would be on ex-BR Mk1 GSVs, looking at it just from the numbers. 22 GSVs vs. 6 Dutch vans, and they can run with current IRM PRs and future IRM PRs, current MM Cravens and future MM Cravens, RPSI Cravens set... ...and more importantly, they share cross-platform modularity with Accurascale BR Mk1 vans / coaches. Not saying that I don't want Dutch vans, I'd love a few, but I'd also expect, and be prepared, to pay a significantly higher unit price for them. I can't speak for other members but if an ex-BR Mk1 GSV was going to sell for €60 or €70, I'd happily pay twice that for a Dutch van. Likewise with the Tin Vans / HLVs, I'd be happy to pay twice the price of a regular coach for one of those, and would buy more than one. Damn you, OCD.
  16. Brakes, ambulances and silver mainlines are likely to be announced after the first batch land or are close to landing.
  17. I wonder if it would be possible / feasable to develop a light and sound unit for use across various future IRM heating vans, that could also be sold as a stand-alone unit for retrofitting Silver Fox / DC Kits / IFM / scratch-built heating vans that currently trundle along with no tail lights and no sound. An all in one IRM "Silver Box" that you can pop into your older stock.
  18. DJD Senior has two of these buses and loves them. Mine are slowly making their way down here. Probably have them by the time the NIR coach packs hit the shelves.
  19. How do the numbers stack up? I'm nearly sure that I saw @jhb171achill post before that there were 6 (pre-rebuild) Dutch vans and 22 BR Mk1 GSV at one stage? EDIT: It was actually @Mayner who gave the numbers, here.
  20. Is 1916 from the RPSI heritage set? A composite converted to a brake in the 70's?
