  1. Correct on both scores
  2. Will do Jim, cheers1
  3. I can assure you Kevin that we most certainly are not a fly by night operation. These will be built and will be delivered. My hopes there have been answered! Yes, Noel called it right and I've been chatting to him about it when we launched! Hard to keep a secret in this hobby though I think overall we did quite well
  4. Thanks for the orders lads, I think we'll be announcing the winner of the competition at some point tomorrow!
  5. Just a footnote to what's already been said already and that is a massive thank you for all the positive feedback, enthusiasm, well wishes and support for the project that we got on the stand yesterday as well as orders that were lodged! It was great to meet and chat with so many forum members too about the site and the wagon project! Won't be there today myself but Patrick, Stephen and Richie will be on hand to talk about all things Irish Railway Models and the forum too.
  6. Good to meet you Noel! Some brilliant layouts on show, pity I didn't get to see them for too long but duty called! Paul was working hard to Make sure it ran smoothly and was very accommodating so well done to him and the club!
  7. We're all set at the Blackrock show, looking forward to meeting some of you today! We're at stand 22!
  8. Sorry Kevin, they really seem in demand
  9. Good morning everyone! Thank you to everyone who has placed and order with us so far. As a treat here's a glimpse at the latest CAD. Still some corrections required but it's almost there! We would also like to remind you that we'll be at stand 22 at the exhibition in Blackrock this Saturday and Sunday to talk about the project and take orders. Finally, we are also running a competition! We're giving away a pack of three ballast wagons to anyone who has placed an order between our launch last week and this Sunday before 11pm. All you have to do is place an order with us before 11pm on Sunday if you haven't already. The winner will then be announced on Monday. Good Luck! www,irishrailwaymodels.com
  10. Accommodation bogies to move around the works as they're narrow gauge Des.
  11. makes sense so! Cheers snapper. Wonder if it's getting the interior fitted out in Belfast? Report on WNXX says it's the first coach finished anyway.
  12. Aha, so maybe you dont need to pay to see them! Or am I being automatically being logged in as I do have an account?
  13. There are pictures on wnxx.com of the completed observation car and its reported its heading for Belfast soon. Livery is nice, observation bit looks like something I've made with a bit of plastikcard and too much glue though. Wnxx is subscriber only btw.
  14. 222 reserved pending payment.
  15. Thanks for the orders lads, sales are going very well so far
  16. 071 gone, just the 201s left. Thanks men!
  17. I know man, it'll be all good! We're the new kid in town so we're going to make sure we start in the proper way with a top class model
  18. That'll be the dream Seamus, once we sell the wagons we can look at 'bigger' projects, but it's a lot of 'if's and but's' at the moment. We'll see where we end up once we sell the wagons! If anyone needs any further reassurances regarding the quality aspect, have a look at DJ's preproduction BR Class 71 here http://www.mremag.com/index.php/news/377-djm71ep We're aiming for this to be the best it can possibly be as at the end of the day we want the wagons to stick behind our locos. If they're not up to our high standards when it comes to fit, finish and decoration (and I know I can be very picky myself, so can the others!) then we wont be accepting them and will send them back until they're right.
  19. We'll put it in the suggestion box Jonathan!
  20. Not to mention the new model company and their big RTR wagon announcement!
  21. It's been very heartening to see the support for the project lads. It's been something we've been working on for months and I dont think any other forum out there has taken on a project like this to my knowledge. And now a request! If any of you have pictures lying around of the wagons at home or on a hard drive, could you email them to us for reference? We got plenty of the wagons currently sitting in North Wall (with full IE permission I might add!), but it would be great to get some older pics especially. If you could email them to fran@irishrailwaymodels.com it would be great.
  22. Cheers Noel and of course if the ballast sells out we can move onto other projects...
  23. Other 142 accounted for pending payment. 201, 222, 8208 and 071 still up for grabs.
  24. All MIR kits, one of the 142's and 141 reserved pending payment. Still one 142, all 201s and 071 still available. Thanks for the swift business so far gents
