  1. Didn’t know maebh did mainline runs with GSR coaches???
  2. something more familiar on the workbench. this coach was free! But it has no bogeys (those ones are from an identical model and I removed the under coach bit). The green is much more accurate but the lining is a bit worse! To thick altogether but hey, it was free and experimentation is good
  3. A very SWB 6 wheeler might be something I very need!
  4. It isn’t the most clear picture in the world. But rhid must be down by cork shed. The way the grass bank is in the backround and the engines 100 and the midland tank.
  5. There is no RTR C Class from IRM yet. So I’d try get a A class in supertrain
  6. Yeah I’d probobly just swap it
  7. from the USA it seems. I think the seller saw other MM products and got excited these cost 30-40 at the model show!
  8. I’d like to think the report is published with a map and description of the Letterkenny to derry line that just stops at the border
  9. Never ever had it, nor have seen it in stores for years
  10. Spotted that one…..unbelievable to me that colour footage of pre-emergency railways in Ireland exist
  11. That’s Evan Kelly, he has been trying to sell that Mogul on all the Facebook groups. I suppose it would sell on eBay…eventually…

  13. Yes there isint actually anything between the chassis spacing it apart. one side has the pickups that mayner was referring too. I must look at what peices I do have and see what I can come up with to complete the chassis the motor it came with is well knackered, beyond repair. Again a static display would be a good outcome for this chassis in particular
  14. No footplate either….all I seem to have is enough to make a cab!
  15. Looking at the kit it looks as though half of it is missing unfortunately. no side tanks, none of the bits and pieces like the funnel ect…. Basically not nearly enough to finish a locomotive I would think.
  16. Today I got half a Tyroconnel models (TMD) MGWR J26 (E-Class) or rather the remains of an attempt to do it. Half the kit is missing and the chassis is complete. I think this is a good opertunity to re-use some of the parts….any suggestions?
  17. i like an eejit looked for it on geohive before realising the station in question is in County Tyrone!
  18. Almost looks like a lifted railway terminus! Almost looks like a lifted railway terminus!
  19. Either my 2nd favourite….or favourite livery for an 071. Call me bonkers if you will!
  20. Irish railway models have actually helped transport much of the 5’3 track panels to maam cross if I remember correctly
  21. Just make sure to ask permission, I’m pretty sure there has been some big security measures employed since the above photos were taken
  22. I’m pretty sure a few quick google searches and you will find the answer very fast lol
  23. It’s not scrapped or going to be scrapped. although some people on here may consider it’s current location “worse then scrapping”! Which is ridiculous….but it’s relatively safe and sound
  24. It’s not there anymore!!!!! its in a super secret location where no one will ever find it…. (I’m actually suprised no one has “found it” since)
  25. You can go in and watch 20 minutes of a dvd, there is 2 cases of decent artifacts and there is occasional info on the wall. The real intention is seen through Recent additions are mini excavators, RC boats (both of which you have to pay extra for). You can now book the Park Royal’s for parties! The main way they make money is season passes to families I believe that Jeremy clements has built some new locos for the model village. Based on S&SLR, CBPR and CMLR prototypes as can be seen in new irish lines. There also has been a CIE 6 wheeler spotted in recent times
