  1. Great show yesterday George, well done. My own wallet took a fair old battering as well, but all for a good cause!! Lima Mk3 combi pack - €75 A pair of cravens - €25 each A bunch of signals and level crossing from Des. A glue applicator from RB productions looks like a handy yoke for applying glue with precision. Got a bunch of unboxed Oxford diecast 1:76 cars for a €1 each. There was a nice punch and die set for €70 that I wish I got but a lass ran the bank dry!! It was nice to catch up with a few of the site members Paul, Tom and Des as well. I'm already saving for next year!!!
  2. Beautifully done, suburb attention to detail.
  3. wow!! cracking weathering job.
  4. Very nice finish, well done.
  5. Making good progress.
  6. Very tidy job, are you casting them in a one part mold or is it 2 part?
  7. Fantastic level of detail, well done.
  8. Looking good, nice to see a bit of greenery building up around it.
  9. The video is an excellent way to show the work progress. Your work shows a level of maturity well beyond your years, I'm very impressed and looking forward to seeing more.
  10. And then I see you already have one......D'oh!!!!
  11. Very impressive work Nelson, look forward to seeing more, but definitely get a workbench up and running, its a great way to share idea's and to get some good feedback.
  12. Great atmosphere with the lighting.
  13. Sorry to hear of your loss Eamon.
  14. Nice few projects ahead of you there George. Now that you've got the mans shed the real fun begins! I presume a Beamish tap will be the first installment! Good to see you back on the form.
  15. Excellent job on the scratch build Mk1.
  16. bugger me you work fast, looks great!
  17. Wow, fantastic stuff, I'm a great fan of Das clay myself. One thing you can do if you have a lot of repetitive stone work is to make a template using plastic card to press into the clay. Works particularly well with formal cut stone.
  18. Superb weathering Wiggy, well done. Those deep scratches look great.
  19. As they say, every day is a learning day! I was aware of the one at Fort Camden but didn't realize there was one on Haulbowline, thanks for clarifying must investigate further!
  20. Camden Fort is not on Haulbowline, but about 2 miles south east of Crosshaven which is part of the mainland. To my knowledge there was never a rail line on Haulbowline.
  21. Wild guess, is it the one on approach to Cork station on the Midleton line??
  22. I wonder would the mk1 under frame from the free carriage with 'Your model railway village' mag serve as a suitable runner for this?
  23. You made a magnificent job of it, brought to life by a superb paint job, well done.
