Wow, fantastic stuff, I'm a great fan of Das clay myself. One thing you can do if you have a lot of repetitive stone work is to make a template using plastic card to press into the clay. Works particularly well with formal cut stone.

As they say, every day is a learning day! I was aware of the one at Fort Camden but didn't realize there was one on Haulbowline, thanks for clarifying must investigate further!

Camden Fort is not on Haulbowline, but about 2 miles south east of Crosshaven which is part of the mainland. To my knowledge there was never a rail line on Haulbowline.
