  16. Looking fabulous, well done.
  17. Cheers Tom, the plan is to model the Cork yard and main station condensed and in two halves to form a loop. I have an attic space 5.5m X 4m and I'm planning to build the yard with shed and cement works on one side and the main station on the other. I've been playing about with some rough track plans but nothing fully worked out yet. At the moment I'm concentrating on building the various structures for the layout. I've insulated the attic and the next step is to build the base boards.
  18. Fantastic stuff all round. I love the sound effects, how did you get the prototypical clicking sound from the bogies?
  19. Just spotted a load of ballast at the Cork yard today. Does anybody know where they intend to use it? could we see some auto ballasters down this way soon? Or is it just hard core for the car park extension!!
  20. I don't think it would be a good approach for doing a wagon as all the handling would probably put the foil out of shape. But I'll stick up a tutorial and a few photo's in the next day or so on it.
  21. nice ballasting, its really shaping up now.
  22. fanny tastic! I luv's it.
  23. Wow, they look great. Are they kits or ready to run?
  24. I would suggest maybe ballasting the track on a separate piece of lite timber like hardboard and overlaying that to the card model after when fully dry.
