  1. From the photo it looks like the class 70 is barely as tall as the ES44 hauling even when on the wagon! I think that livery looks a lot worse than the Freightliner one actually
  2. a fellow of good sense! i will be at the show tomorrow with two friends, im looking forward to seeing the layout
  3. I think the 141/181s run a wee bit better than the 071s. Equal detail wise though
  4. That is one cool livery. Will it be applied to other classes?

Whatever it is, it hasn't dawned on me... What is it?
  7. Lovely loco! What chassis is under it?
  8. Thats a lovely model! How long are they in real life?
  9. Looks good! If you can get clear gloss varnish, it will make the oil stain more 'oily' looking
  10. You probably should... Looks odd having them at both ends
  11. Isnt she just! im glad 227 was on enterprise today, shes my favourite 201. I also saw 209, but passing my train the other direction so I couldn't get a video. She was pretty shabby looking too
  12. I was down in Dundalk today on the enterprise, and i took the opportunity to film some 201 class locos passing through Hope you all enjoy the videos!
  13. Dont forget the big Heineken sign!
  14. Lights for a loco, prototypically, would be just front head and ditch lights when running with load, or head lights, ditch lights, and rear red markers when running light.
  15. Looks great! I love the night shot of 071. How did you do the loco shed lights?
  16. Very good attempts might I say! I love that gondola, really realistic
  17. Those look quite nice. Are the vans BR 12T vans?
  18. Sulzer, is that a bell on the 59?
  19. Probably the same level of interest, but the internet box shifters like ehattons or rails have killed off smaller shops that have to charge more as they sell a lower volume of stock. Not to say ehattons and rails are bad things, great for heavy discount items
  20. a worthy cause indeed, spudfan!
  21. Did you ever get a 121?
  22. This would be great. Enniskillen would be a great RPSI trip if a line was built
  23. Thanks for the tip spudfan, thankfully all is well again, but I will try that if problems arise again
  24. Certainly is!
  25. Update: After testing various locomotives over the section of track, it seemed to just be affecting one particular new loco, but it is now running well also, so it must have been that the loco wasn't run in properly yet.
