  1. Now THAT is what a railway station is SUPPOSED to sound like!
  2. Welcome mytrains! If you can resize the image by 25% or so, it should squeeze under the 2MB limit Irish steam is one thing, in N is quite another indeed!!!
  3. Actually just spotted this pretty little thing Network Rail Class 08 diesel shunter
  4. Lovely selection of stuff, tho very little modern image for my liking! Couple of lovely new HST rakes tho, and the addition of lighting as standard looks interesting, as does the 25 pound DCC sound options...
  5. Apples can be 'wierd' about orientation, I find if you put the phone sideways / landscape mode, then the pics come out the right way up
  6. Cheers lads. Yep I plan to paint and weather the slab. Once settled into the ballast will help too. I'm loving the lights. It was well enough lit but a bit dim up there. Now I can see what I'm doing! Is highly recommend the LEDs.

  13. Lovely shot, I presume the loco would be released on departure of the rake?
  14. Yep Looks like DNS propagation. In lay terms, the whole of the internet hasn't 'noticed' that the site's moved. Some ISPs are faster at copping on than others - Eircom being one of the notoriously slow ones
  15. DNS for me still resolves to the old site too - 212.147.150.18 The DNS is reporting a new IP Answered from ns9.dnsireland.com (80.93.23.86) themodelshop.ie. 14400 IN A 217.78.0.167 So I reckon it's Eircom being silly slow buggers as always
  16. The one you posted in the tutorial section?
  17. David, When will you show us a few photos of your modelling, and not these old shots of the prototype? Seriously, staggeringly gorgeous stuff sir!
  18. Got all the gear off these lads in Artane http://www.xpresselectrical.com/ The parts are High Lumen LED Strip 45o LED Strip Profile 120W LED Drivers
  19. Yes, I've it on a remote control and have a built in dimmer circuit. The goal was to deliver full-on daylight - which it certainly does
  20. The LED lighting is extending around now to Blackrock Road
  21. Wow! Would be something else to build for a 'what might have been' layout!
