  1. Interestingly on Gerry Conmy's Youtube channel at 27:50 I came across a MkII rake with what appears to be a Dutch van at either end. Any ideas why this might be or am I just talking Double Dutch here?
  2. Just ordered my CIE ploughs this week .......... (and got one of each of the others for good measure, sure why not?)
  3. No problem. I know its a long time ago. I was going through the thread to see how much interest there was in these railcars and thought you might recall. The Bulleids were very interesting as I hadn't realized they were incorporated into the 2600 class
  4. That link redirects back to this thread though @Garfield
  5. https://drimnagh-road.webs.com has expired. Owner may not have renewed subscription, moved it or deceased?
  6. http://www.geograph.ie/photo/2594880
  7. Single bubble on the back in this interesting mixed freight, unfortunately I have forgotten who to credit this to and I will remove it if there are nay objections
  8. I think ernie Brack has at least one if not several on Flickr. I'll post a link if I find it. Unfortunately there are not that many pictures floating about of the bubble since the orange livery since the livery was earlier, and changed to the ivory within not that many years and less availability of color film. Most of the 'ivory'/covered in cement Mixed with ivory livery I think this is belong to @jhb171achill and has been previously posted on the site
  9. Very interesting photos. The last 7 (I think they're all the same plough van?) seems to be the GS&WR plough which seems to have been in mostly 'original' condition with horizontal boards until '99. It looks like was finally repaneled in metal sheet 2000 ish. I can't recall if it was renumbered into the 252XX series after that but it'd obviously keeping its original GSWR plate. Richie did a nice series of photos @Glendergon one of these, iirc about 2 years ago, ... one ended up in Downpatrick, so must look that up. In action by Joe St. Leger in Midleton
  10. Nope, I'm MIXING my white and orange bubbles as per prototype at a certain point in CIE era
  11. Having seen the various MGWR on Rails through North Kerry, I’m still tempted...
  12. Barytes and Mogul zinc rakes if you’re stuck for ideas? (To be fair I’ve just finally got to read through @jhb171achill Rails thro’ North Kerry and what magnificent pictures of specialist wagons not seen anywhere but on Irish rails, great lineside too) Of course we’ll need the barytes to have the opening doors to allow the JCB to bulldoze the ore Now sales are visible on the IRM site I’d say the orange bubbles have done pretty well considering they were launched last, ivory bubbles having sold out in the order they were presented on the website A through D. E, F packs will sell out I’m sure. Really looking forward to B&I liners, and Bell of course. Well done IRM!
  13. Funny, I looked at the website today but didn’t see anything! Good to see these. Unfortunately, had to respray the last rake and committed to other purchases right now. Might pop down to Marks in Cork tomorrow to see if they have them though. Any update on the 121s, I wonder?
  14. Thanks, Steven. Patrick, I saw the chat window but I wasn’t sure the chat was actually live at that late hour and got the impression you’d respond to the email it requested. First time I’d used it. Sorry about that.
  15. Is the discount pricing only available if you’ve previously ordered something other than the CIE plough? The full price was showing in my cart for any combo of three (including at least one CIE) the other night. Tried to ‘Chat’ but no response email seems to have received to date? Thank you K
  16. What’s date in July?-
  17. I might also be interested in a short rake of these but what exactly is being offered? Worsley typically does scratch building aids, not complete brass kits like JM Designs or SSM. Perhaps an estimate for what ever is being proposed would be helpful? This must be possible in order to estimate a minimum quantity to break even? A photo @jhb171achill might stimulate some further interest making pricing even better? Thanks K
  18. Sounds like the same problem of modeling mesh grilles on Baby GMs etc, mechanical and manufacturing tolerances etc.
  19. Very interesting to see the fertilizer wagons in that film with mesh doors. It seems like they must’ve entered the service cfor some period of time to be called Long Kesh wagons.
  20. Nice! Very pragmatic. Thank you!!
  21. It’s probably genuine, you may have got a copy of the Southern Hemisphere edition.
  22. Crikey! No one to run a presumably profitable enterprise? Or was the factory in ill health rather than the owner? Fortunately, I don’t really purchase these products just MM, IRM, JMD and a few others
  23. On walkabout in Ireland, looks like I found internet on the correct day! Great news so I’ll preorder what I committed to on the other thread. May I purchase any three packs (to include at least one CIE) or only one of each style? Thanks! K
  24. Thanks, Jonathan. I’m on the Enerald isle at the mo’ but this is a trip to be postponed to next visit, I guess.
  25. I don't suppose this is open yet correct?
