  1. damn..
  2. By the way the photo was edited to give a 50's colour look to it, just in case you thought I was absolutely sh*te at taking photos
  3. Edit: I probably won't post a vid until I have all the ballasting done and a back scene up
  4. I'll try Kev, but it will mean a lot of cleaning for me! Thanks Bosko:tumbsup:
  5. It's 1954 and Meadbh thunders through Kedleston, while 073 ticks over in platform 2, having shunted the stock of its train, into the sidings
  6. Even on the most premier trains, often no two coaches were the same, six wheelers composites, laminates Park royals, Bredins, and(until about 1956-7)Pullmans. Often in different liveries too!
  7. Just put them in the stockpile, next to Christy Moor's sweat..
  8. After noticing some 071 like details on it.. The pic was just labelled wrong
  9. ..And firing 16 year old dirty nappies at them...
  10. No,it's 177
  11. So like this?
  12. I thought they were turned at termini, and larger stations?
  13. Blimey! Not surprisin' people wan' a good A class, considerin' we 'ave nearly everythin' else diesel wise. Nuff said!
  14. I wonder what the cost of rebuilding the woolwiches be compared to actually building a loco to that design and leaving the woolies?
  15. That's an amazing piece of work, evens sounds like some of the older V6s. Whoever built that must have had a lot of patience!
  16. Thanks for posting that up John! It really does look like a 800 on a more moderate scale. A model would indeed be very interesting. Maybe one of the Brassmaster of the site would build one for posterity:p
  17. Hmm..interesting... But there would(obviously) be a much larger appeal to an RTR run. Chances are MM won't consider an A for at least a couple of years so a kit might work
  18. Would he be making a loss? I wonder what MMs turnover is?
  19. Great news Stephen!
  20. These trains are small but those trains..(071 charges past) are far away..
  21. And the Biccies John,..and the Biccies..(leans back into shadowy chair)
  22. Although to me, they looked like a bunch of belpaires put together, they were extremely powerful and reliable and they were built on the "austerity" period so it was "form follows function"
  23. GSR 800

    Congratulations

Congrats Richie! Nappies, long nights, and closet modelling galore! ( guessing I'll be under mentally unstable at times then?)
  24. If Ireland had joined the war in let's say..1942-3?
