  1. Foyle Road is interesting as it shows that the LPHC lines have just been cleared. The steam coaches on the left are for the extra service to Belfast on a weekly basis By this stage all other regular passenger services were Railcar operated.

  5. Great photo of Glenties closed to passengers end of 1947. Kept open for goods until March 1952 mainly turf traffic. Lifted by 1954.

  18. Reading in latest Rail Magazine about a man who wanted to travel from London to Barrow. Found it cheaper to fly London to Dublin then Dublin to Manchester and save about 300 £ as well!
