  1. I'd like to model the two coach set that worked the Ballina branch during the late 70's / early 80's. Can anyone tell me if any of these overlays are suitable, or even closely resemble the prototypes?
  2. That's one I always thought Corgi should have done. It would probably still sell well today if they released it. Nice job on the KE's!
  3. My copy of Rails Through North Kerry arrived in the post this morning... I'm delighted with it! A wonderful book, packed with magnificent photos. Well done on producing yet another masterpiece, jhb!
  4. Noel, is that an Expressway liveried VP in the background in the first photo, between the C and the Van Hool?
  5. Lovely job, Noel. Those wipers look great on it.
  6. Any 141/181 in either the black and tan or supertrain livery, or an 071 in supertrain livery
  7. No one is buying that... But I was hoping it was the A you went to photograph when I heard you were there...
  8. A pair of 121's would also have worked them on the Ballina branch.. 124 and 134 for sure..
  9. Try joining this group... They were produced by a couple of the members https://www.facebook.com/groups/irishmodelbuses/
  10. Lovely scene there Noel... Is this a new area on Tara Junction? I don't think we've seen photos with this background before...

  12. It looks brilliant! The detail in the bogie alone is incredible
  13. High sided beet wagon?
  14. Best of luck with the launch! I'm looking forward to getting a copy, and delighted to hear there's more in the pipeline.....
  15. Sorry, I never saw it there....
  16. Marks Models are holding another sale on Irish stock..... http://www.marksmodels.com/?cid=51
  17. I wonder if MM have any plans to release 071 in it's current supertrain livery....
  18. I was going to ask the same thing..... But I saw it mentioned somewhere that this sample wagon is on slightly over sized wheels, so it may be sitting a little high next to a loco. Just something to bare in mind, if we get a picture....
  19. The lads did mention all the hours that went into this project alright.... They just omitted the small detail of the liquid lunches....
  20. Brilliant detail on that sample.... I'd say these wagons will exceed expectations....
  21. The whole thing looks incredible! But it is nice to get an insight into the process that will eventually provide us with these beauties...
  22. Great job on 216, Noel. That's a lovely shade of blue!
  23. Looks good to me!
  24. From memory, and subsequent photos, the dolomite wagons had no large numbers or lettering stenciled on the sides, so I'm hoping removing the print from the models along with some weathering will be all that's needed..... Unless anyone knows different about numbers or letters they may have carried?
  25. When you say dolomite guise, do you mean basically the same wagon, without the large stenciled numbers and lettering, or would there be any other alterations?
