  2. https://www.wilsonsauctions.com/timed-auction/listings?salecode=DO1179&fbclid=IwAR1QrIRjU2W2AHirmtKV5mNhm-06yQUzeLOSM7tvEuJV-RE2mh0uHnmtRSE_aem_AUUJ9IhijLOndCrmsHWA35GB79yCb6Qr69l1b_oTXrtIi6ya3A9Ji7avOFgJZu44wEpz2G3RbhsCYviZeWv02Sra popped up on my Facebook feed, and the auction is on payday and all!
  3. Mine arrived and a suitable load was located(sort of).. Coupled up snugly to some Bachmann cattle wagons I have with no issues(don’t have much 2 axle stock)

    Customs & VAT

Sorry that should read third countries, i.e ones that aren’t members of the EU or EFTA

    Customs & VAT

I think you are getting two seperate scenarios confused to be honest.. What @BosKonaysaid is as that VAT is payable on courier fees, i.e if you are booking a shipment with DPD/UPS/FedEx/DHL then you pay VAT on the courier fees but not to An Post/RM/DHL post Germany if you post with them. He then elaborated that VAT is payable on an import shipment, as the value used by customs for calculating the VAT due is the landed value. This covers all costs incurred to get the shipment to the point of arrival(including shipping/postage).. So if I buy item x for €100 from a third world country, and pay €10 postage, then the VAT due will be €110(purchase price plus postage) x 23 per cent
  6. We have a small re-stock of Keg stacks and Palletised bags headed for our warehouse also, so keep an eye on those dropping into stock some time next week https://irishrailwaymodels.com/products/bag-loaded-pallets-stacks https://irishrailwaymodels.com/products/5-stacks-of-kegs-90-keg-version
  7. Hi Martin, I have checked on our side, and can confirm that your bulleid open order will be picked and on the way to you either today or on Monday.. Your flats order is also in progress and you should see an email with the tracking for this drop into your inbox shortly Regards Andrew
  8. Just going to drop this here, Accurascale fans will know what's inside..
  9. That's who I had in mind, but I didn't seem to get any bites on here or on adverts in the week it was up. I stuck it up on Facebook on Wednesday morning, and had 5 offers by lunchtime, was collected and paid for on Wednesday.. Can't argue with that
  10. The first 3 fall into the realms of possible, although OOCL has been done a couple of times as both 40ft DV(Dapol and C-rail I think) and 40ft HC(Dapol current release) as has Consent leasing(Bachmann 13.6m). Containerships yellow is a glaring omission so far on any size of box But a Boulda 20ft HC I can't see ever being a runner in OO, its the wrong region for the gauge and I don't think we see very many in UK or Ireland.. It's also a unusual height that not many others use, so would need to be a bespoke tooling with only a few livery options. In my 12 plus years in shipping I have never once had a shipment by 20ft dry van container that is anything other than 8ft 6in.
  11. Not sure if this one has passed you by Jonathan, but falls solidly into no.3 https://www.oxforddiecast.co.uk/products/erf-lv-flatbed-trailer-n-ireland-trailers-76lv004 A long way from Norn Irn to Dugort harbour mind.
  12. Now reduced to €150
  13. Just going to drop this here https://www.accurascale.com/en-eu/collections/class-37
  14. What settings did you use to get that out, ulsterscots to English?
  15. After all the discussion on here about these, I thought I would dig this out of my parents attic and find it a home where it sees a bit of use. Box and model are both in excellent condition, and the train it self has seen very little running. A small tweak I did was removing the plastic gangways the model came with, and replacing them with grey blanking plates. This mimics real life, with at least one Limerick set being so treated before the class was removed from service. Looking for €150 with free delivery in Dublin or P&P elsewhere at cost
  16. Reduced to €35 if any one is interested
  17. Odd one, are you sure it wasn’t a 29000 hauled DART transfer to Drogheda for wheel turning and it was a different DART that headed into the sidings?
  18. The continuity RPSI is alive and well it seems
  19. Some nice HOBS for anyone who’s interested https://www.ebay.ie/itm/126449764252?itmmeta=01HWADDD4XBV95RD5AWXRHD2TG&hash=item1d70fe479c:g:AaIAAOSwtC1mKhFC&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA4OYA0H7TK3iGh1pNw4BnUNLsvJKqD1%2FZzTHH%2BAOi%2BkkiIqZvyP6Yy5JyaAu7klA8xYzOjC2dx3ZcvFM3XX13x7PsSGd8Slt1rjaebwL8zDyAfDDCnCRXsKxgol1Id0QlKkI9LGgug%2BhlGzWvLLxYv%2F9lOryXh%2FD5lKEj%2FPTgXFrWbrjCvcARAG8yGHESHwUtlf4XPAUe4R%2FXzugbGK%2FFc2RaajVwqlMYD9knxhmf7DheX3nahXpu8dFXCMq21hH29zr8dy8H92lHuodPnFjagTuDeqqahds7G7z4ao7TMzTv|tkp%3ABk9SR8TStc3iYw
  20. Making space for more Irish stuff Dave? How are you planning to list it?
  21. Leaving Aldi I heard the unmistakable noise of an 071 working hard.. Sure enough 072 on the UP IWT liner appeared over the crest of the hill en route to North Wall Empty 20ft Bruhn tanks Laden CMA CGM 45ft reefer, this one with flammable liquids(class 3) Unit 45 45ft reefer, another load of class 3 Samskip 45ft reefer, this one is probably an empty Triton 45ft reefer, this one loaded with corrosives(class 8 ) another unit 45, and two empty GCA tanks, these ones are refrigerated and the refridgeration units can be seen at the bottom Beacon leasing 40ft, probably on hire to CMA CGM.. Laden GCa tank, non haz so probably carrying Juice Laden GCA tank, corrosive so carrying bulk concentrate and two more empty Bruhn tanks Two empty bruhn tanks bring up the rear, under RID regs the loads on wagon 1 and 18 must be non haz, so a good place to load the empties! Two more reefers, one a TAL unit on long term hire to CMA and the other a former containerships unit
  22. I’m not sure what the best method to remove tampo printing is on plastic.. I think Bachmann did the consent boxes with their 13.6m tooling which is correct as they were too early for the LEG1
  23. WH Malcom 45ft HC in Argos and CO-OP liveries, €8 each.. Come with locking bars but no box Oxford Diecast Stobart rail 45ft curtainsider, €8.. Hornby 20ft Tate & Lyle tank container, €9.. Will be packed securely for postage
