  1. Quite a feat considering it went bust and was divided between CIE and the UTA in 1958. A fair share of the GNR's passenger services, including the 'Enterprise', were operated by AEC and BUT diesel railcar sets in its latter years.
  2. @Noel - schedules can be found here https://accurascale.co.uk/pages/project-status Per the latest update provided via the mailing list and on social media, the Deltics will arrive at our warehouse during the coming week. Such questions would be better asked in the section linked to below rather than in the CIE magnesite wagon thread, though: https://irishrailwaymodeller.com/forum/25-british-outline-modelling/
  3. You should see the hole in the floor after that drop test...
  4. In fairness, @Noel, we've explained to you more than once the reasoning why it's not possible to lower the NEM pockets on this stock. At this stage I'm not sure if you've simply forgotten or just ignoring what we've told you...
  5. There was one in Limerick as late as 2014 but it was scrapped along with some other long-withdrawn wagons when the works and station areas were redeveloped in recent years.
  6. IE have been running a recruitment drive for apprentices over the last while: https://www.irishrail.ie/en-ie/about-us/company-information/career-opportunities-at-iarnrod-eireann/apprenticeship-programme (Incidentally, the closing date for applications is today...)
  7. But as a pre-existing unit, if converted it would be covered by grandfather rights...
  8. Don't worry, Noel. There'll be an announcement when they are.
  9. B233 and B234 were Maybach-engined C Class locos, not A Class. Very interesting locos and the only Metro-Vicks to ever work in multiple while in service (C231 has since worked in multiple with 146 in preservation at Downpatrick).
  10. I just happen to have this in my collection - from later CIE years so it doesn't include the turnouts for the shed or the cattle bank, but may be of use for the arrangement of signals: I walk by the goods shed in Moate a few times a week and I keep meaning to measure it for my own purposes, but haven't got around to doing it yet.
  11. No problem! Yes, those windows were found elsewhere, and are still evident on the goods shed in Longford, which was a larger MGWR type: https://www.google.ie/maps/@53.7238677,-7.7965482,3a,15y,260.16h,86.24t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sUw00hAS_CLgu4dktQG57-g!2e0!7i16384!8i8192
  12. There were larger sheds built from cut stone, not strictly standardised but there were many similarites between them. The sheds at Dromod and Multyfarnham, for example... Dromod: https://www.buildingsofireland.ie/buildings-search/building/30818013/dromod-railway-station-clooncolry-dromod-county-leitrim Multyfarnham: https://www.buildingsofireland.ie/buildings-search/building/15304024/railway-house-rathganny-multyfarnham-westmeath
  13. Already mentioned earlier in this thread, but Six Shooter is a good one, with plenty of Cravens interior shots and 'classic' Network Catering attitude...
  14. Just to clarify, we no longer accept them.
  15. Hi RR, I'm afraid One4All vouchers proved to be rather restrictive and so we no longer accept them.
  16. All were widespread... silver lasted from introduction until the early 1960s when the green livery was rolled out. Then from the mid-1960s, CIE decided to introduce Black & Tan (as on A15), but after a few locos had received this livery they changed their mind and finished off the rest of the fleet in the all-over black colour scheme. Black & Tan then made a comeback on the rebuilt locos...
  17. Welcome aboard, James! I'm looking forward to to seeing this develop. My mum's family hail from Granard and as Ballywillan was the 'local' station I have always been interested in it.
  18. Looks like the work of the McGowan brothers, aka Leinster Models. @WRENNEIRE may know more...
  19. The hint being that we've now covered all the suitable variations for this chassis. The "Classic 22ft" is similar, but not identical.
  20. They would have to be hopper wagons...
  21. I know you're new to the forum but it's not clever to slap someone in the face like that when they're genuinely trying to assist you in answering the question you posed. People here will be less inclined to help you in future if they're expecting that sort of response. Something to consider.
