I got this nice crane on ebay last week, new £15 and free postage. It looks good and lots of movements. It is about 10 inches tall and i think it's good for that price.

Could you glue a 1.5 mm piece of plastic under the sleeper?
-
The set of wheels on top are for the bogie man.

It's amazing how they make those moulds, it's a real art. Having a few time delays is ok, it gives us more time to save up.

Sometimes you have to just throw it on and see what happens. If it turns out ok then leave it. That looks better but i would use more brown, it's up to you. If your happy i'm happy.

That looks like a nice colour but will need weathered.

Plenty of examples on that web link. It can be hard to judge the colours on a computer but look at the pic's on the web and try some. The only person you have to please is you.

What colours are you using on the roof. The roof in the background looks good, how about doing it like that?
-
There is a lot of roof, but we shall see how it looks when it is all done.
-
The roof looks great, don't stop now, your on a roll.

They're famous now. Sainthood soon.

Lovely and rural.

Here is a picture that shows all the colours in a stone wall that should be close to what you want. study it closely, the more you look the more you see. good luck, you have a lot to do.

Very nice. it's got so much going on. More pic's & video's please.

Is that 3 water tanks on the roof? If so, why?

Only room for one tricycle, what about the rest of us with tricycles. I'm going to buy a unicycle, I should be able to squeeze it in.

GSR 6 wheel coach Part 2. Painted with spray can first but too bright, so then used Humbrol crimson gloss 20. Also a bit light so add black until i was happy with it. GSR crests from SSM.

GSR 6 WHEEL COACH. Here are some pictures from my GSR 6 wheel coach build. It is from Worsley Works. This is what you get. The floor is thick brass which made soldering the side on very hard and needed a lot of heat. W irons where too wide so broke them off and moved in to the right width. Roof was the wrong size so i had to make my own from plastic. I made the middle wheels slide from side to side and it works well on first radius curves. The springs were made myself, first a master then a mould made and i can cast more with resin. The seats and roof made as one and fits in well thank God.

Very nice, you are right, the covered wagon is spot on but the open wagon is a little bit strong on the iron straps. You might be able to wash it off a little.
-
Can you tell me if the brake pipes need to be fitted to both sides or just one?
-
Got mine today, top class work, but i knew they would be. Now i will start on the weathering.

We have also some private owner wagons like Murphy Bros, Waterford and Milligen. plus a couple of pic's from Dublin docks.
