  1. OMG Beautiful, you must be over the moon with it. It really is the loco we need for all these great wagons we are getting. When painted and a bit of dirt they will look fantastic. You should be so proud of yourselves. Thank You.
  2. You never know, put up a list of what you have. I got a kit from China a while back, very old but none available anywhere else.
  3. The track and ballast look great, be nice when finished. The only thing in focus in pic 1 is the date & time.
  4. WOW, good job, it has a real old look to it, if you don't mind me saying that.
  5. Try Questions & Answers page 2 CIE GREEN PAINT.
  6. Looking good, i think she is admiring the sign.
  7. Looks great in black & white. The Nuns went to the transport museum that day and never came back.
  8. I thought this was their usual colour, i will be painting mine like this.
  9. These models look fantastic, another beauty. A question about colour, Were these wagons repainted into a more red-brown as in the picture below?
  10. Looks lovely Patrick, those pictures are tiny but nice.
  11. It's always hard to get the right colour shade from old photographs as they look very different in every picture you look at. So in the end you have to pick one. They were always dirty so all you can do is get the brown paint out.
  12. Stunning, well done to all involved. can't wait for their arrival.
  13. Very nice, they will look great when painted.
  14. Very nice, love the back scene. The spider got a bit of a surprise.
  15. The bright yellow finish on the plough van is hard to get it darker. It took many thin coats and dry brushing, you can't do it all in one go. Sometimes i had to wash it off and try again, not easy. Now i have to do the other one.
  16. Close up pictures will show up every little flaw. But it looks great and has an aged look to it.
  17. It took a lot of work to get the right effect. It was built up with brown enamel then varnished and dry brushed with more brown and Humbrol rust powder, then varnished again.
  18. IRM Ballast Plough VAN. Here are a couple of pictures of the IRM Plough van, before and after weathering.
  19. It must be nice to just walk along the track to get the best picture location.
  20. Very nice, I like the stone on the tunnel.
  21. I had a problem like that once with a Bachmann railcar. When i opened it and had a look at the drive from the motor there was a very small piece of plastic catching as it spun round so i cut it off and that cured it. I don't know how much you can see with the cover off but have a good look inside when the motor is running. you can slow it down and try using a magnifying glass.
