  1. Colour films back then would be different from one brand to another. Fuji film was warmer than Kodak for transparency film. Over or under exposure would affect the colour and the type of daylight. Colour negative film and prints were rarely correct. You only need to look through some railway books and you will see how many shades of orange there are. Plus they were repainted many times over the years.
  2. Just beautiful, looks perfect 10/10 I love the grass, where did you get it please?
  3. Very nice. Will you be living there and will it have a garden railway?
  4. Nice work. I used to love watching Thomas the tank many years ago, it was very well done even back then.
  5. The G class looks great. Maybe do a video sometime?
  6. A very nice model and it was a quick build, well done.
  7. That's a lot of buses. And the garage looks great.
  8. Very nice and neat paint work.
  9. That's a very nice model, it will sell well.
  10. Here are 3 pictures of the control desk for the G class cab.
  11. Here are two pictures of Saintfield station in co Down showing it then and now. Thanks to ernie's irish archive and to the station owner for letting me take some pictures last summer.
  12. That looks really good and i don't see anything wrong with the soldering. Try to add as much weight to it as possible or it won't pull much.
  13. It's good to see that the museum will remain there and be open to the public. I will try and get up there next year when it opens.
  14. CDR Meenglas No4 has been moved from Foyle valley railway to RPSI Whitehead. Hopefully someday restored.
  15. G601-613 were silver/grey and green. G611-617 were green, black with white stripe and black with orange and white stripe.
  16. Thanks. This was a big job and i would not do one again. The cab frame is 2mm plastic rod but i think 1.5mm would have been better. It made glazing more difficult. The louvres were made with a laser cutter, which turned out ok.
  17. Thanks, there is a lot of work involved on small details glazing was tricky. It was a slow job. Here is a small drawing, it's the only one i have but it might help.
  18. That does look much better.
  19. Thanks very much, glad you like it. The hydraulic lines were done with plastic bristles from a brush.
  20. Great video Nelson, i love the sound of the engine. It's like an old age pensioner. It's nice to see a video with a steady camera and no zooming in & out.
  21. Many thanks for all your comments. This was all scratchbuilt apart from some small bits motor, wheels, buffers etc. It runs ok but a little loud but might improve if it ever gets run in.
  22. Plasser Tamper No 5 complete. Some pic's of the tamper machine finished at last.
  23. I missed this too. Very useful for future builds.
  24. All we need now is the loco's.
  25. Where did my album go from my profile page? I know some are in members albums but are all over the place. Can a member make their own album?
