    Thanks. There is a lot more work to do to it and then do another one. I did not do anything to the lights just painted.

    I used the Bachmann oval buffers 36-0301 on my C Class, they look ok i think.

    I lowered my footbridge and made it a bit narrower. I might paint it grey or black.

    I would agree with that. I thought the loco would pull more than one carriage and next week looks like a balls up.

    That's all very informative. I had to take a break halfway through, but lots of information there. You should write a book about it.

    RATIO 48FT COACH. This coach was built to be a GSWR look a like. The ends were rounded at the bottom so this was cut off and a new piece added in.

    I tried to solder a white metal buffer once and it melted, must have been 100% lead. Be careful.

    It all looks great to me but i think you are a perfectionist. You know where the bad bits are so you see them but nobody else does.

    I would use plasticard as it is easy to work with. Watch some youtube vid's to learn the do's & don'ts. Try to keep it simple, not too thin or thick.

    Great quality pictures, you must have some amazing ones. Do you have a flickr account? if not you should so these great pictures can be seen by everyone that was not around then or missed these events.

    Can i ask about the blue strips? Where they on them all?

    It might be they will separate at some point and one will pull ballast wagons and the other will pull spoil wagons. Here is an old picture of double heading, not my picture.

    The picture at Bray above has a strong blue cast which i have corrected so you can compare.
