  1. Looks great. I must get up there soon. Super pic's, thanks.
  2. Lovely pic's, nice viewpoint. I like the railcar.
  3. Did the steam drivers change over to driving diesel loco's? It must have made a big difference to their workload.
  4. Love the weathering, it does turn a plastic model into something more real. You will learn as you do more. BTW i believe that you can't mix thinners with acrylic paint, just use water. Also with acrylic wash the airbrush with warm water.
  5. Beautiful work. Can i ask what colour of blue did you use? it looks so good.
  6. Yes it is so good and realistic.
  7. That all looks very nice and neat. I like the drivers, it is hard to get good modern ones.
  8. How about using a piece of plasticard and scribe the paving lines into it, Then paint it grey.
  9. The Javis ballast looks perfect so does the grass. Where did you get the brake van? it's beautiful.
  10. Very nice vid, i wonder if Arran could do some IWT containers.
  11. The vans look great and nice weathering, i think one or two brown vans help to break the grey up a bit and even some open wagons.
  12. Looks pretty good, now how about a bit of dirt on the loco.
  13. Very nice models and the scenes look so real.

    UTA Bus

I would like to convert a leyland PS1 into a UTA bus. Is this suitable to start with? and what changes need to be made? Advice please.
  20. The wagon look's great, well done.
  21. Why are they two different sizes? Are they two different makes? One has 6 ribs & the other has 7, so you could remove the bottom one.
  22. BTW This wee loco would be very light and would not pull you out of bed. Mine is packed with lead in every space i could find, it will pull a few wagons.
  23. That's a nice model, have you tried running it yet? What is the motor bogie like? I have this model but i used a Mashima motor & made my own chassis. I stuck a piece of plasticard behind the bufferbeam for strength. Here is a pic & it is painted in DCDR green. It's still not finished.
  24. That's a lot of work. Really amazing, where do you keep it all? What roofs did you use for the BUT Railcars?
  25. That look's like one beautiful model and amazing detail. 2017 is going to be a big year.
