Problem adding pics?

Anyone Else getting an error about uploading pics?

 

This worked as it was a Snip and drop into the mail but uploading pics from the Laptop I am getting the error shown here?

I had the same error yesterday when trying to add a pic to a PM from my Android phone. Same format I always use also. Just checked now, still getting the error. Tried a pic I sent before in the same PM thread and it's also giving the same code 200 error.

Looks like the cloud move undid some of the memory limits. Will fix! Thanks

I lowered to 440kb and it worked.

Old thread but this exact thing is happening to me now, what is the fix?  Put up some large videos lately was that a bad thing?

Same here on my phone (Android). Getting a 200 error from the server. I tried uploading the same pic on the Chromebook and it worked fine.

I usually upload pics straight from the phone because I don't have to download them from Google photos first like on the Chromebook. They are already locally stored on the phone.

Could be that Google slightly compresses them for storage and the version I uploaded from the Chromebook us slightly smaller. The one I tried uploading from the phone last night on my workbench thread was 4.0 MB.

just normal jpeg but i stuck up a few vids of merlin a week or two ago that were about 600MB that i thought might of twigged somthing.

Can't upload photo's, Normal size 2 MB it says 200 error.

It looks like anything over 2MB it will not upload.

I reduced the MB down and it worked ok.

I'm afraid I'm getting the same 200 error on pics no larger than 4.2MB. Anyone else having this problem? Can't submit pics from my phone.

Hmm. Generic 200 error or any more details? The limits should be set at 8mb

I think it was a generic server error, nothing specific. I will try again tomorrow using the exact same image file I used from the laptop. Google compresses the files but the originals were all well under 8MB.

It seems to be a file size problem @BosKonay. A pic I take on my phone is typically 3.5MB. The same pic gets saved to Google photos at around 1MB. If I download the pic from photos and attach it here (all on my phone) it works. The 3.5MB original will not work. See screenshot:

Tried several small images in different formats.

It's not just you - It won't let me post one at 4.8MB, apparently.

Stopped working about nine or ten last night, roughly. Last few successful image uploads were to the Bulleid Open thread and the H Van thread.

Lokks like se the same problem is happening again, as per original post on this thread. Site doesn't seem able to upload photos. Text ok though.

Same thing happened last night, @BosKonay fixed it this morning, but it’s no longer working now.

Yep we ran out of storage, had to crank 'er up to 1.21 gigawatts!
