Rather they leased some tanks, that kept the original livery but had a label or labels applied? I shared a pic of a transamerica tank the same as the one Arran does on here a while back with such a label https://rainbowrailways.co.uk/product/c-rail-oo-gauge-transamerica-leasing-20ft-spider-tank/ @K801 They did indeed. Large Bell logo and BELL on the side. There was a mountain of them stacked by Abbey Junction crossing in Waterford for the longest time. I'll try find a good photo of them... MOGUL
Every day is a learning day as they say. At first glance, all the tanks in these pics are the Transamerica type with Bell labels applied But in the third pic, can be seen a BELL liveried tank peeking out from behind the P&O container. It seems to be an older type tank, so maybe these were phased out/replaced by the hired in tanks. It is interesting that BELL featured both tanks and 30ft Bulk containers in their fleets, most shipping lines don't carry specialised types like this. The majority of bulk containers are either operated by dedicated bulk operators like Hoyer, GCA, Bruhn or Bertschi or hired by the cargo owner and moved as shippers own containers(think DANA and Murphy tanks on the Norfolk/DFDS/XPO liners)

Regards Arran Storm/high winds lead to two gantries at Bellview colliding and contributed to the Bell Lines collapse and bankruptcy. murphaph
Any chance of doing that CCR tanker @Arran? Never heard of them before but it looks like it was on rails. Anybody know anything about them?

Was Bell Lines responsible for loading/unloading containers or a company contracted to Waterford Port. Claims and counterclaims the lawyers must have had a fielday.
