Darius43 Posted January 20 Author Posted January 20 Whiterock Head removed for track cleaning. CAF 3000 out for a spin. Granted that the CAFs never went through the tunnel as the line was singled in 1994 but, in the world of Whiterock, that never happened. Cheers Darius 11
Patrick Davey Posted January 20 Posted January 20 The world of Whiterock is a most pleasing world! 1 2

Colonel Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Visiting Tunbridge Wells the other day, the camera shop (yes proper cameras, not phones) had a Rollieflex in the window, for a mere £999. Fabulous looking lenses, but no digital processor, of course.
Tullygrainey Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Great to see these developmental stages. Methodical, neat, tidy and well thought through. Great work. All my layouts usually look like the dog's dinner at this stage. 1 1
Patrick Davey Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Fabulous - looking forward to seeing what your plans are for the raised area surrounded by the low stone wall! 1

Georgeconna Posted January 26 Posted January 26 The clump foliage looks pretty spot on. I really like it, I had the same stuff, tried it but put it away. must retry again! 1
Darius43 Posted January 26 Author Posted January 26 The trick is to apply varied colours of flock to the shrubbery using hairspray to fix it in place. This gives it a variegated colour rather than the solid green of the base shrubbery. It also makes the layout room quite fragrant for an hour or so. Cheers Darius 2 3

Patrick Davey Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Perfection - am guessing this is the inspiration behind this superb build: 1 1 1
Darius43 Posted February 2 Author Posted February 2 It is - based on a c1900s photo I found on the web rather than today’s building converted into flats. Cheers Darius 2 1

Cheers Darius I was pretty sure it was based on a previous condition: excellent research and superb recreation as always! Edited February 2 by Patrick Davey 1 1
Darius43 Posted February 5 Author Posted February 5 Some floral work at the station. Used white flock, brush applied pva, and a home made stencil. Cheers Darius 12
