It’s a 3d print so all one piece.  I airbrushed it NIR maroon, which was quite straightforward, but the latticework infills were brush painted cream in place.

I do like the warning panels on the loco!

The warning panels look great, they add an extra dimension.

That last vid looks like it is the real thing!

Maybe its the 'low' quality that makes it look like an old cine recording, captured from the road below

My first model railway was a 1960s era Marklin 3-rail set that my Dad bought second hand from a work colleague.  It was set up for me on the dining room table one Christmas Day in the early ‘70s with station buildings and a tunnel that my Grandad had built.  It was amazing.

The train comprised a BR24 Mogul with some two axle tinplate coaches.

The original set was sold several years ago but I have recreated the train using a Trix BR24 and some Fleischmann coaches.

Hi Tony,

This looks like a Jouef Ireland manufactured set, however the loco and coaches are of European prototypes and are not Irish.

The loco looks to be Belgian, judging by the livery and the coaches look to be of French prototypes, albeit finished in German (DB) and Italian (FS) livery.

The car transporter is of a German prototype.

None of these ever ran in Ireland.

You can get replacement traction tyres on eBay - you just need to measure the wheel diameter so that you get the right size of tyre.

Finally, perhaps the moderators can move Tony’s post and my reply to a more appropriate part of the site.

Cheers
