Join the club Fran, i think the trip in the A class that he organised, trip to malahide by train from Cork and the Railway modeller every month sealed it for me. Luckily mine is still with us building his aircraft kits but my heart goes out to the lads who's fathers are no longer with them. Quote

heirflick Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 nice scene there anthony - very fitting for the day thats in it! my Da passed 4 years ago now and ive always heard that it gets easier with time - it dosent! there are times when i feel his presence and it does get a bit overwhelming ....then i remember all the great times we had and all is well! this song by the Fureys always reminds me of him.....
