IrishModelRail Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 This lad certainly is letting off steam... Quote
jhb171achill Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 I hope the guards were called to deal with filth like that...... Quote
RedRich Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 He seems a bit deranged alright. Imagine having your kids with you in the coach. Rich, Quote
heirflick Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 (edited) thats a really pitiful sight - for any tourists thats some horrible portrayal of irish people. Edited November 9, 2013 by heirflick Quote
jhb171achill Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Maybe it's just old age in my case, but I couldn't be bothered trying to humour of "make allowances" or give therapy to the likes of that... just liquidise them...... the damage caused to tourism as a result of any UK or American citizen witnessing that is to me, far more important than that individual or his ilk..... RedRich Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 I wonder if he was removed from the train at the next stop, if not he should have been. From the looks of the coach it is a 22000, so the destination could be a number of places. Rich, Quote
jhb171achill Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Hopefully tied to the track...... no, that's not fair to the track. Quote

ttc0169 Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 (edited) This lad certainly is letting off steam... Remember lads there are two sides to every story-and what you see is not nice, but speaking from experience when people are vulnerable they are an easy target for scumbags who take great satisfaction in provoking people-and this is what happened here......that's all I'll say on the matter. Warbonnet Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Stepped onto a train at Portarlington two weeks ago to be greeted by two drunks punching the heads off each other. The driver had to come out of his cab and boot them off. I didn't see a guard on the train. Passengers certainly would miss them from a safety point of view. Quote
201bhoy Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Dublin-Westport train it says on the video. Quote
jhb171achill Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Tonight on the 1800 ex Galway was a crowd of noisy young lads with strong Dub accents making eejits of themselves shouting, swearing and drinking.... Two and a half hours of it... But at least it was good humoured noise.... Looked like they were maybe returning from a stag do or something. Quote
Broithe Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 After a few unpleasantnesses on the train to Holyhead and the boat, I used to make a point of checking the fixtures and trying to avoid days with potential for obnoxious fans to be about. The worst I ever had were Australian rugby fans, who were just atrocious. Yet, on another occasion, I noticed a few matching shirts on the boat and became aware that there were dozens on fans aboard. I had to ask who they were, as it was an away shirt and I didn't recognise it - they were Wolves fans - so, you can't always tell, I would have travelled another day if I'd known they were going to be on and yet they were absolutely no trouble.... jhb171achill Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Well, many Aussies are descended from us..........! As our good friends from the USA would say, "go figure"!!!!! Quote
