DiveController Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 That looks great:tumbsup: One of the lads did a photo album of one of a signal box before for me…. may have to give these serious thought when I need to fill in 'green belts' on the layout
jhb171achill Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 "The Church"..... thought you meant the bar in Dublin! Excellent model, well done!

Broithe Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Yep I looking into that and a ford Cortina. Finding it hard to find the Cortina (father teds Car) Any one Know where I can get one ? 1s and 2s are easy enough - but, no sign of a Mk5 - one day, perhaps....
roxyguy Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Father Teds That's great. I did a card version of Ted's house with a mk 1 blue cortina - will try and find the picture. I often thought that Metcalfe should do a version of fawlty towers - surely it would sell well.
minister_for_hardship Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Not being too well up on ecclesiastical architecture, but isn't that model a typical Anglican Church rather than an Irish RCC church? Or would that be an ecumenical matter?
roxyguy Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Very basic card version of Ted's House. Careful now.
heirflick Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Oxford do a nice milk float... .....does it include explosives?
jhb171achill Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 I know the owner of the Father Ted house in Co Clare.... must tell her it's depicted in model form - she'd be delighted!
Broithe Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 I know the owner of the Father Ted house in Co Clare.... must tell her it's depicted in model form - she'd be delighted! Tea available, by appointment - http://www.fathertedshouse.com/ - ah, go on....
Broithe Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 (edited) I know the owner of the Father Ted house in Co Clare.... must tell her it's depicted in model form - she'd be delighted! Thinking a bit more* about this, it would be great to do a "small/far away" video with the real house and the model house.... *..probably more than I should.. Edited February 12, 2015 by Broithe
jhb171achill Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 I'll suggest THAT to Noreen as well! If you're ever in Doolin, ask for Noreen in the chocolate shop. Her family owns it. I'm off thread I know; I'll leave it at that! :-)
Broithe Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 I'm off thread I know; I'll leave it at that! :-) Surely Father Ted isn't that far from the subject of "The Church"...?
roxyguy Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Tea in ted's house is a great day out! That's me with the silly hat
jhb171achill Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 I'll skip the tea, but I'll take the two €20 notes!
roxyguy Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 That €20 was to cover my sins. An 'indulgence' a believe they use to call it.
Broithe Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Father Jack, in his chair, seems to have had some sort of make-over..?
jhb171achill Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 €20, Roxy? You got off very lightly there........
jhb171achill Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 That's one of Father Jack's secret sons....
