  1. This thread should be renamed and stickied like the eBay and Bargain threads. Something like the "Hattons Pricing For Suckers" thread. https://www.hattons.co.uk/1109262/murphy_models_mm5224_po01_mk2d_so_second_open_5224_in_cie_supertrain_livery_pre_owned_very_good_box/stockdetail £99 STG for a coach!
  2. Time to dust off the Scalextric cars and buy some gauge 1 track for the 071.
  3. My prediction is that it will be awesome. Doesn't matter what it is. My ideal would be an 800, but whatever it is, IRM have shown the level of quality and detail that can be expected, so it's gonna be awesome. I'm a bit impatient so I even have a Manor ordered, as a sort of preview of IRM steam.
  4. As @MOGUL says, let's see if it appears on John Paul's eBay page in a few days.
  5. Hattons are OFF THE RAILS with their Irish pricing. Usually stupidly expensive but I picked up a 141 from them yesterday for £77. Think that the VAT price was £93, just under the price for the third of the three £95 Cravens, but that's not important, VAT is for chumps anyway. Just before the three £95 Cravens, they had one for £30 something. Might have been two months beforehand. They tend to have a few Irish items at stupid prices, then one at a good price, then repeat...
  6. It has sold! Think IRM may need to get their own 071 / 111 on the shelves before the 800 if they're going for those kind of prices!
  7. OK, so only nine locos in the launch, please!
  8. Just saw that one!
  9. Don't be getting too excited and creative! Three locos, each in three liveries, plus a Cultra special edition in a wooden box, and happy days, that's enough!
  10. GSR 800 FTW!!!
  11. Great news, @Mayner! Will you be releasing the entire range or a limited range? Will you be offering painted, unpainted or both?
  12. An 071 in 1:32???
  13. What are you up to now???
  14. Only one choice: GSR 800. All proceeds going towards her refurbishment. Confirmation in approx. 116 days...
  15. Couple of collector bit on Adverts.ie... https://touch.adverts.ie/toy-cars-trains-boats-planes/model-railway/28773526 And... https://touch.adverts.ie/toy-cars-trains-boats-planes/model-railway/28773504 And some Dicky Taras! https://touch.adverts.ie/toy-cars-trains-boats-planes/model-railways-murphys-models-141-no-156-irish-railway-models-dicky-tara-mines-pack-e/28777251
  16. That's amazing news for anybody who missed out. Gorgeous little wagons!
  17. Pack A running perilously low!
  18. Funny how the pricing differs on the different platforms. €275 to €350 on Adverts.ie €350 to €450 on eBay £120 to £130 from Hattons Except for the NIR and freight grey limited runs, which will be even more expensive as there were only a half-run of each. Two on eBay at the moment... 082: https://www.ebay.es/itm/175497706929 073: https://www.ebay.es/itm/115609751791
  19. Is that why the WEC doors are curved at the top and bottom instead of straight? That DFSU box looks nicely battered, just like the TESU one.
  20. Could have been a duck measuring contest... Could have been trolling people at Inchicore on open day... Could have been measuring and scanning for an upcoming loco to haul all of those Mk2B/C coaches!
  21. More non-container stuff... Saw these two chaps landing out the back of the office earlier... (Video might still be processing)
  22. Can't believe that there are still blue Tara's in stock. The grumblers always moan when a model is newer than the seventies, and then a seventies wagon comes along and doesn't sell. And, these are just gorgeous. Irrespective of era, they're a stunning wagon to look at.
  23. Another WEC box parked across the road from Paloma Beach today, a bit more patchy than the last one.
  24. Has anybody here on the forum taken your decal sheets for the Ferts? Dying to see them in action.
