  1. I understand how important feedback is to a manufacturer, it's just the timing of it. Leave us a few weeks of enjoyment, first!
  2. How about everybody holds on the bloody nitpicking for a few weeks? I for one, will be waiting a few weeks to receive mine, and I don't want the moment ruined weeks in advance with lists and lists of imperfections. Please!
  3. Wow, that is a massive layout, yet it's so well done that nothing seems lost or out of place. Reminds me of Dublin!
  4. Barrow Street is a stunning layout! What sort of size is it? Those 121's look right at home, there.
  5. Wow!!! That is simply lovely. How does it measure up beside an IR 141, 181 or 071?
  6. Never take the tissue off. Ever.
  7. PM me and take my money, please...
  8. Is that one for sale?????
  9. For anybody viewing on a mobile device, just touch and hold the video for a second, then you can download the file and view it on your device.
  10. It sure is!
  11. I just swapped a BNIB 146 for 177 as I had two 146's!
  12. Ha! I have a similar spreadsheet!
  13. A number of members commented on speaker issues with the first batch of 121's. Have the speakers been checked one by one for this batch, or is it still a possible issue? I ask as postage from Ireland is currently taking around three weeks to get here, so if I have a problem, it's three weeks to receive the loco, a week to find time to test it, another week to find time to wrap it and post it, three more weeks back to Ireland, whatever time it takes there, plus three more weeks back here... At least that, plus added Christmas delays! Not intending to knock the 121's, not in the slightest, just thinking of what I'd like to avoid... Three months additional wait for my 121's is too long!
  14. It sold out long before the as-delivered, ST, IR and IE liveries did, so probably not too unpopular...
  15. Wow, £225 STG with six days to go!
  16. Actually, following on from that, which of the 141's and 181's sold quickest at launch? I know from WRENNEIRE's thread that the quantities produced were all either 500 or 504, and the launches were staggered with a few different running numbers every few months. So it's strange that the same five or six running numbers tend to pop up more frequently on eBay, B141, B165, 184 etc. 171 and B188 are the two that I'm hungry for but they don't ever pop up. Think I saw a 171 for €400 a few months back, but a ten year old 141 isn't worth three brand new 121's!
  17. Not as bad as the prices that some of them have been going for. At least Hattons are still reasonable for them when they come along.
  18. BNIB?
  19. I wonder if the release of the 121's will knock some sense into the incredible asking prices for 141's and 181's.
  20. You're spoil-ing us...
  21. That's a YouTube embedded URL so should play fine, irrespective of the forum.
  22. Gorgeous looking model alright, amazing detail, simply amazing. At least MM and IRM have broken that mold, constantly doing larger and larger runs to satisfy demand.
  23. I'd like to see another run of MM Mk2D's, both IR and Galway, extra EGVs and restaurants to match, and an RPSI twin pack of 303 and 304. And a partridge in a pear tree.
  24. Supply and demand. If enough were produced to satisfy demand, pricing would have to be affordable. Keep the quantity low and they can charge as much as they like. People will climb all over one another to get these.
  25. Ah, it's the Facebook yoke that was posted here a few months back?
