  1. Fiteen days are up, get your wallet out!
  2. @Warbonnet posted on Tuesday that they are not far away: I'm sure they won't be long arriving!
  3. The DCC decoders for the new Murphy Models 141's / 181's seem a little expensive at €45 / €155, compared to previous DCC decoders. https://irishrailwaymodels.com/en-eu/collections/dcc-decoders?sort_by=created-descending Is there some sort of reasoning behind that? Mark's Models have them advertised a good bit cheaper, but I'm wondering if it's just that nobody has been given accurate pricing info, yet? http://www.marksmodels.com/?cid=51
  4. I'm nearly sure that there was a mailout the other day about the grain wagons, where they also said that the fuel oil tanks were a week or two away.
  5. Nope, it's the un-numbered variant: https://railsofsheffield.com/products/heljan-2680-class-26-br-blue-unnumbered-dual-braked A lot of the Heljan diesels are offered un-numbered.
  6. Definitely looks likely to be larger than OO Gauge...
  7. Well, the postie dropped this off a while ago... Looks a bit large for OO Gauge, and feels like it's about 3kg...
  8. Another thing with the NIR Mk2B/C's is the build quality. So far, no loose bits floating around in the boxes, and they feel sturdy when held. Not afraid of breaking anything by picking them up.
  9. A sound chip would be nice...
  10. A little diorama would be lovely, one day!
  11. These are going to be amazing!!! I particularly like the grey cattle catcher on the earlier livery models, just really stands out. I don't get the "duplication" joke, though. Was that the nickname of the class or something?
  12. 1966 Ford GT40 Mk1 from Solido:
  13. Likewise, Rich, can't wait to see the IE ones. These, as were the RPSI sets, are just sublime.
  14. And with the better camera ‘phone:
  15. Yes!!! IRM order has finally arrived! Don't have time to look properly right now, have to rush, but at a glance...
  16. Probably cheaper and easier to wait until people get in touch and request them. Branching off from that question, let's say somebody bought a pack of NIR coaches, doesn't bother requesting the correct bogies for them, then sells them on. Will the subsequent buyer be entitled to free replacement bogies, or have to buy them? Has anybody tried retrofitting the new IRM bogies onto a Murphy Models Mk2D coach? And has anybody tried swapping out the narrow gauge British bogies on the IRM NIR coaches for the Irish gauge ones? Maybe @BosKonay could merge this duplicate NIR Mk2B/C thread with the main one here: https://irishrailwaymodeller.com/topic/10440-irm-announce-nir-enterprise-mark-2-coaches Silly to be spamming the forum with duplicate threads on the same topic.
  17. Love it! That Golf is savage!
  18. Think they tried the same with me but they used the wrong strands. As a result, I like warm places, I can sleep comfortably anywhere, and I sleep all day. But, on the plus side, my personal grooming is top notch.
  19. Lovely review of the Accuascale Class 66 here from our very own Euvirail:
  20. Those guys are super-human, like the @Darius43's of the car world. Obviously genetically enhanced, some sort of feline DNA infused when they were in the womb.
  21. "Boy racer" is a term used by old people and ignorant people to describe anything that they either don't understand or are not interested in when it comes to cars, and as such is nothing more than misplaced jargon. There are car enthusiasts and there are scumbags. The people described in the two articles are not car enthusiasts, they're just scum. This line: “They can crush a car, but we can always go buy another one, it's not hard," he said. No car enthusiast would ever ever ever say that. I guarantee that giving the police the power to crush cars would scare the bejaysus out of any genuine car enthusiast. However, it would have to be reasonable. A blown light bulb or whatever wouldn't be grounds for crushing, but these guys literally racing on public roads, that warrants a good crushing. We had that retarded muttonhead Gay Byrne ranting and rambling about "boy racers" years ago. Just pure ignorance. Old fart hadn't a clue what he was on about.
  22. Definitely blasphemous to prefer watching young men in shorts before rally cars, but each to their own, I won't judge you! Doing wheelies?!! Back on the meds, you! One of the Toyoteros over in Las Palmas sent me this photo the other day. That's me in the centre. That's me in the sunlight. Loving my religion.
  23. @BosKonay recently posted that IRM may have their own ranges of containers coming - nothing definite, but he definitely hinted at it!
  24. Auction for a job lot of NINE C-Rail containers about to end, currently going for £46 GBP: https://www.ebay.es/itm/285912776468 If I had to speculate, I'd say that the seller may be the forum's very own @richrua: https://www.ebay.es/usr/rrua6196
