  1. Viva Vox Choir's Prodigy mashup:
  2. I love these sets. They really nailed the livery.
  3. Y33 bogies were the best option available:
  4. Nothing running... Yet! 1:43 47' Flats from Shapeways posing with 1:48 eBay containers... @irishmail will be drooling over the lurker in the background.
  5. Ah sh*t!
  6. Awwww, be sad to see this one do a Ballyercall and vanish, but needs must. It's been a stalwart on the forum over the years, for both quality and quantity.
  7. Customer pre-orders were all posted two weeks ago, excess units were released into stock, already gone. Don't tell me you missed out on these, too? Just kidding, still listed under the "Tooling and Decoration" tab, not in-production nor in-transit, so don't worry, you have loads of time to get your pennies together. https://irishrailwaymodels.com/pages/projects Says Q4 but that's just @BosKonay not doing his job properly!
  8. I still use SMS as my main means of text-based communication. Ordered a new screen for the 'phone yesterday ('phone is about seven years old, maybe eight) for €25. Happy days. Cats don't eat pancakes, in general, at 2AM. LOL, same, I subscribed to random stuff on FB several years ago, so when I do log on, even if it's only a few times per year, my News Feed or Wall or whatever it's called is just random stuff.
  9. As an alternative, if you don’t want to wait for Mk3’s, the Lima models are quite nice, to my eye. Not prototypical, but they appear on eBay from time to time, Me personally, I’d value them around €40 each, but that’s quite subjective. You could also contact Silver Fox if you wanted some right now: http://silverfoxmodels.co.uk/ir-ie-mk3-mainline-coach/ To me, they’re a less attractive option than the Lima’s due to the price, but they are still a viable option. Sadly, Silver Fox stopped doing their Mk3 DVT’s, as did DC Kits, so your only option is second-hand… But get in line!
  10. Hi @floorster. Murphy Models are likely to be releasing Mk3 coaches over the coming few years. IRM wagons and coaches are best bought here: https://irishrailwaymodels.com/en-eu The “In Stock” tab is very useful: https://irishrailwaymodels.com/en-eu/collections/in-stock As is the news tab for upcoming projects: https://irishrailwaymodels.com/pages/projects If Murphy Models go ahead with the Mk3’s, it’s likely that IRM will be a stockist.
  11. InverTrain parcel arrived yesterday... Wonder what the GJH PLant Company bogies will be like!
  12. A 22G1 20' CAI (or former CAI) box spotted at the old favourite, the Chio roundabout, on Monday 13th May. Number TYMU-6351986. The "TYMU" and the final "6" appear new additions. Looks to have been adopted by TYMSA up in Valencia: https://www.tymsavlc.com/ And what gorgeous patchwork!
  13. Two retired-looking boxes snapped on an undeveloped parcel in Barranco del Inglés last Thursday, May 9th. They look to be NENU 4EG1 box no. 9941958 and I can’t make out the other.
  14. They are about the layout, specifically how well stock should run on the 600mm curve. Good luck with the repair!
  15. Agree with @Ironroad and @irishmail here. Something is definitely catching or stuck. 1100mm radius is insane for OO Gauge. For perspective, the Heljan O Gauge Class 56, a Co-Co diesel, runs on minimum 800mm radius. Think the O Gauge coaches run on around 1200mm minimum radius.
  16. The sale of these locos fell through at Christmas, so they're still available. PM if interested.
  17. You’ll be grand with 600mm radius curves. Set-track radii are approx 371mm for R1, then R2 or approx 438mm is the minimum that the manufacturers recommend nowadays, then approx 505mm for R3 and approx 571mm for R4. 600mm would almost be like R5, way above anything else.
  18. Even if Mark's don't, IRM will release extra units into stock once all pre-orders have been packed and shipped, so I wouldn't panic too much. You can subscribe to be notified when each item is back in stock on the IRM shop website. Plus, in hindsight, we all know a man who has probably bought a pallet of each to sell on, now that he's cleared space in his store room for them!
  19. Afraid so. I was able to order the Open Wagons, missed out on the Flats and Oil Tanks, and Patrick helped manually place my order for the H Vans and Grain Hoppers. There are usually extra units released into stock once the items arrive and all orders have been processed, so it’ll probably be grand.
  20. And six packs of IRM Keg Liners for €810: https://www.ebay.es/itm/266792224779
  21. IRM A Class for €220, DCC fitted: https://www.ebay.es/itm/266805944065
  22. If anybody has over-ordered their oil tanks and wishes to dispose of some, please let me know. I was unable to order due to account glitches before they sold out.
  23. Just saw the latest advert for Heineken Blue. Well worth a watch:
  24. Delighted with this announcement! The H Vans are my favourite of the Bulleid chassis vans. Will have to order a few to compliment @leslie10646’s Dapol vans and @Mayner’s wagons! As a rough guide, are we saying Flying Snail until late fifties, grey with CIE Roundel for fifties and sixties, brown for sixties and seventies?
