  1. I'd rather see them remain in the list, but with a red signature under each of their posts saying "Caution, this manufacturer has a large amount of unfulfilled orders". Removing them is too easy and hides their history.
  2. UK only? They don't show up for me at all due to eBay's crappy geo-blocking or whatever it is.
  3. Keep an eye on Hatton's and on eBay. Translink buses appear every now and then. Marks Models have both the Oxford Diecast Irizar Translink Goldline and the Irizar Ulsterbus in 1/76: http://www.marksmodels.com/?pid=29160 http://www.marksmodels.com/?pid=22367 Hatton't have the Oxford Diecast Irizar Ulsterbus in both 1/76 and 1/144: https://www.hattons.co.uk/78941/oxford_diecast_76irz003_scania_irizar_pb_ulsterbus/stockdetail https://www.hattons.co.uk/173749/oxford_diecast_nirz003_irizar_pb_ulsterbus/stockdetail Forum members @WRENNEIRE and @MOGUL have buses available from time to time.
  4. CochesdeMetal is the shop that I suggest: https://cochesdemetal.es/ The website is in Spanish but it's pretty easy to navigate, and with free online translators, it's simple enough to copy and paste chunks of text for translation.
  5. Photos and text are placeholders. IR twin white stripe livery and Galway livery are being produced.
  6. Bit of glue at lunchtime, feel a wonderful high after getting so many wing mirrors sorted. The plate that holds the axles down on the Lucey trailer was broken into four seperate pieces so let's see if that lasts. One of the buses was missing a mirror and one was missing a windscreen, floating around loose in the boxes. Can't even tell which was which, now. The two weathered Tinnelly cabs were purchased with only three loose mirrors, so nothing I can do about that one for now. Anyhow, that's enough stimulation for today, back to work.
  7. The "Pay Now" option is excellent! If one places several pre-orders to distribute the cost, one can subsequently click the "Pay Now" button to pay off each of the smaller pre-orders as funds permit. For me, it's easier than placing one larger order and paying all in one go. Excellent idea, guys, thanks!
  8. JCB really looks the part, exellent addition! Operator shouldn't have left the bucket up like that while going for his break, though, could be a disaster if the driver of 192 catches one of the plough vans on it! Must say, the layout is really really lovely, but it needs more buses...
  9. Too many nice layouts all in the one place, and some great photography. Robert McDougall's "Trebor's Park" looks interesting. Any more info on that? There's a different "Trebor's Park" on RMW.
  10. The bus-moaner buying buses! What's the world coming to??? Laughing so hard here that I'm choking!
  11. Hot off the press, just delivered to the office, Edicola / Salvat G1N0E017 1987 Renault DG290 from CochesdeMetal!
  12. Little parcel arrived from IRM today, twelve odd months bouncing around in aeroplanes but they are here!
  13. I think that's how it is in the video.
  14. It has been handy. I know that O Gauge is a bit niche, but they're cheap and reliable. Cheaper and faster for you guys up there than for me, but still good value and service... Speaking of, Nacex just called and will be delivering a parcel later with another O Gauge truck!
  15. Exclusively Irish, no. However, they stock DAF's, MAN's, Volvos, Renaults, Mercedes, and the Dodge C38T has been a source of cheap O Gauge trailers - as cheap as / cheaper than buying wheels and building the trailer!
  16. Herpa 1:87 Scania 143 with a Bell 20' and a Bell tanktainer. Not sure how prototypical the tanktainer is but I like the look of it. This didn't arrive in the usual Herpa packaging, just a transparent plastic box with no branding nor info, no model number or anything.
  17. Bumping this in case anybody knows how!
  18. Congrats, @Patrick Davey and @Tullygrainey! Sounds like you had a wonderful time, and the layout and stock are exhibition grade and beyond!
  19. Stunning shot, simply sublime. Bond always works under cover of darkness.
  20. Thanks, @derek! We get them every summer, usually arson, but we had no proper winter last year - no snow on Teide, no cold winds from the Atlantic, so the place is drier than usual. Here's a video I took last summer:
  21. Bit of info here: http://www.industrialheritage.eu/2021/European-Year-Rail/ENDANGERED/IE/Narrow-gauge-railway-at-Bere-Island "During World War One Bere Island was a strategic British military base, much of the architecture still remains, including the remains of a narrow gauge railway track, the remains of a turntable and a building which served as an engineers’ workshop with platform at the front of the building. The track ran from this building to a nearby pier. Equipment for the base was landed at the pier and transported by railway to the workshop. The site is currently owned by the Irish Department of Defence. The track is largely intact, just overgrown in place. The building is maintained and used by the Department of Defence."
  22. And two Austin Maestro's, these things scream 1980's.
