  1. There is an easy? fix for the noisy motors If you strip them down a lot of the plastic parts still have some residue from the manufacturing process Check out the gears and remove the burr, helps reduce the noise a tad. Though what this has to do with NIR Mk 2's I will never know?

I worked in the OS back in the mid 70's While waiting for the Cartography course to commence we spent about a week cleaning out old map stores of what was considered useless stock I must have dumped thousands of 1:1000 sheets of every village and crossroads in the west of Ireland, and I am sure there were many railway stations and trackbeds covered One thing I did manage to salvage were about 20 sheets that covered the main buildings and out houses of Hazelwood House where my grandparents worked for many years No idea what ever happened to them.

I contacted them when they first mentioned they were producing a new Mk 3 I think it was about this time last year I asked if they would do a run of Irish Mk 3's They said they were looking at the possibility of producing a kosher Irish coach I asked them to keep me informed but I have heard nothing back :confused:
