  1. Great info there Bos,and I think some photos of the engine and Drive system appear on that journal as well.
  2. Great videos Kieran, and always nice to see action on your layout=D.
  3. Tommy I think one IRRS journal has some tech info on the 22ks.let me have a look through my collection. And Ed,not very helpful comments to a good question that Tom made.
  4. I would be sorry to see you go as well Tom,as has been said your scratch building is inspiring to me. It's a small but growing community here, but it will have its ups and downs and fall outs. Eamonn
  5. I am taking the lazy way out as regards using the chassis Off a39.I was going to do a brand new SF body in IR livery but had 001s body which all that needs is a detail kit. Although I love a39,she is a bit out of place in the black livery with other locos, and I thought the sound chipped 001 would be nice.I will get a deltic chassis for her at a Later stage. The inspection car is slow work-but only a bit tricky trying the get roof to fit right.
  6. Ritchie its a Humbrol oil stain wash I got in Grahams last week along with a rust wash.Just messing about with these washes and I nearly forgot that decals will have to be stuck on. The inspection car might end up on a siding unpowered with a few chaps inside.
  7. Work seems slow on my workbench, however here are a few updates- I have the oil wagon finished bar some minor paint detail and I have tried some Humbrol oil stain and rust but need to get the proper decals before I do any more. The SSM inspection car is slowly coming together- I am not sure if I will put a motor in her but have put the inside parts ready for paint and glue If she will be unpowered. I plan to change the body of a39 to 001,and so have started with the SSM brass detail kit on 001s body. This body will have directional lighting as well as the sound chip body.
  8. I would love to get a rake of timbers at some stage,so this has my attention.
