  1. Stunning work.Tell me where did you get the hand break wheels and vacume break pipes?,I need to upgrade my own ballast train.
  2. LED lights are nice, tidy work.
  3. Super Super Super, love the loco shed.
  4. That's Gas alright.I have seen this problem before with the Capacitors, but perhaps it might be only certain types of chassis that this affects, however I always remove them from the likes of the deltic chassis. As regards the 141,the select as far as I know is very basic for DCC,but a good wheel clean could help and have you tryed a different decoder?.
  5. Was your loco DCC ready or was it converted to DCC.The reason I ask is if the motor has supression capacitors still attached, this can cause poor response to loco motor.
  6. Have a look on the Enniscorthy 150 thread as I posted up a few photos of a 4 car 22k in Enniscorthy Station.
  7. Great photos David, and nice to see a bit of 071 class action on the Rosslare line.
  8. The MSB chips are recorded from the real locos. The 071 sound is from 088,the 201 sound is from 212,and the 141/181 is from 188 which has a sort of clanking noise when ticking over, which is unique to 188.A MK 3 EGV used to be available but the problem was is all it did was the engine noise of the EGV and nothing else bar a few station announcements, hence it's expensive for a sound chip just for that.I have a sample of Gerry Byrnes EGV with sound on my YouTube page.
  9. That's the gang in front of the Castle express alright Rich.
  10. It was a good day Shem, pity the WMC Display was not at the station But Joseph's bridge looked great.
  11. A few photos I took last Saturday at the Enniscorthy Station 150. A large tent was erected outside the station serving refreshments, while the "Castle Express"brought us on a spin around the town. All this was free, and well done to IE,and to Oliver Doyle who gave a talk on the arrival of railways to Enniscorthy.I missed the unvailing of a plaque as I wanted to get to the 1798 centre to see WMCs display.
  12. Great stuff Stephen.
  13. That's a great line up.reminds me of the four 141s that were coupled together near Clonslla for clearance trials a number of years ago.
  14. Well done Nelson,very nice.
  15. Welcome 1508,look forward to your layout photos.
  16. Best of luck Shem.
  17. I may bring her up to you person Shem,so you can have a listen yourself.
  18. You did a great job.
  19. Thanks for updates Kieran, wonferful.I love that nice curve through the station.
  20. I hope to pop over some time during the day.Wexford club are attending in the 1798 centre.
  21. Lovly job on the An post vans George, and super paint job on the MIR 071.
  22. As has been said so much happening on this layout, and I think about 3 hours sailed by before we knew it.Sorry about the delay on video as It s taken me ages to upload to youtube-must get better internet connection. I was wondering what Noel thought of a39 sounds as not many people have heard it in the flesh. Gerrys ballybeg had them on show last year, but its hard to hear the sound proper at a show. Noel gave the thumbs up to the A39 sound chip, and in case you are wondering, the chip only has F2 horn sound hence why it has not been released yet. As can be seen from the video A39 needs more weight, and other than that runs very well.
  23. Good to hear your 071s are going well. Its hard to believe its a week since the Ballast Ex-Enniscorthy paid a visit to Tara Junction in order to help with engineering works. The folks who traveled on the ITG special with A39 were very happy with the railtour.
  24. A fine job you have done on them.
