  2. Great job on the an post transit.By the way the bonnet on that van should be all over an post green.If you want any photos I work in an post and see the bloody things everyday. Great job though.
  3. Thanks Rich.I suppose hand painting a model makes it more personal,but would like to expand the skills in this area some time.
  4. Good advice guys,as painting anything is the vain of my life.I would like to get a proper set up some time in the future when time and money is better,until then hand painting may do me.
  5. Scratch building will give you great satisfaction and your bubbles are a great way of expanding your skills.Fair play for having a go,the results are very good.

  7. The Attic is the only option for me at the moment as well.Fridge with beer sounds good though.
  8. That is a insperation of of layout.looks cosy for the winter but what about heat?have you installed anything to cope with the intense heat that can arise in Summer.I had to move my entire stock to the landing during the recent heat wave as I feared damage to locos etc.

  11. I had a look at a spare sd9 chassis that I had for the SSM sulzer.It looked like a lot of work to modify so I stuck to the Hornby deltic chassis.Its nice to see how one was used-great work.

  13. Wow that is a nice Station you have.The one shown in photo is a single bay Metcalf card kit.I can get some photos tomorrow.
  14. I got this nice Oxford diecast Dennis Fire engine a few weeks back and i love the detail and a fine array of ladders.At some stage I hope to have a nice fire station in place on the layout.

  18. No crime whatsoever and steam trains to boot-lol. Lakegarda-fab place.
  19. I am just back from Italy after two weeks holidays, and guss what! I found a loco to sit in!:-)
