  1. There was feature on that line on a IRRS journal a while back, I think it might have mostly been about the branch to Mountmellick or Castlecomer, not sure but will check it out when I get a chance
  2. The bridge is fantastic and the whole scene looks great.
  3. Stunning work, and the detail is fab.
  4. I love those signal kits Des,and I may get a few more soon.
  5. I just fitted the speaker on top of the weights that came with the Deltic chassis.space is a problem and I may try different ways of mounting the decoder and the 8 pin plate, although I could hard wire in the decoder if I need more weights in the motor bogie area, will see how it goes. I plan to stick on the bogie side frames when I get the chance. When I finish A39 I want to start building more SSM signals as I think 2 or 3 more could be made from the bits I have left over.
  6. Hell of a job alright, and if anyone gets a chance to have a look inside the engine room of A39,you can see the work gone into that, painstaking painting of pipes etc.
  7. Well worth trying to get talking to Paul Cleare who Has done a great job with his N Irish layout.
  8. That viaduct rings my bell,it's all coming together nicely.
  9. I was on the Silver Coud Railtour in January 1999,and had a great day.The route was Connolly to Waterford Via lavinstown curve-Carrick on Suir-Waterford-Rosslare-Connolly. Unfurtunatly the high cost of insurance that was needed to run the ITGs own locos put paid to a39 and A3r running on the main line again.
  10. Next up on the work bench is putting a Bass reflex 4 ohm speaker in A39 and rearrange the weights to suit.
  11. I am nearly sure I saw that Bedford Tk for sale somewhere.
  12. I think that time frame is more like it. I have one resin MIR 121 which I would like to re chassis soon. The 071s are expensive, and for me I would like to get a CIE one and 077 in IE.I still have to get some autoballasters at some stage.
  13. Lovly shot there Ant,as My dad did the same with me at Enniscorthy Station-great memory's,missed terribly. And as has been said Ant I'd say your Dad very proud of your skills in the hobby.
  14. I persume you got 077 in pristine condition to be used as a canvas for weathering.I look forward to photos.
  15. Just watch the rough riding in the cab,I wonder is it the track or the bogies on 164
  16. Thanks Tom,The IR and IE livery is my cup of tea,and could not wait for them to come out.I will get a CIE 071 at some stage.
  17. A few shots of B107,showing the hand painted body. I refixed the front windows with the originals as the clearfix seemed to be a bit too gel like, the more I looked at it. The paintwork needs more touching up at some stage. The lamps are wired so that they are on in either direction.
  18. I got my 085 from Shemus Graham last week and I love it, and along with 073 are my favs.
