This is one of the finest recreations of a GSV that I have ever seen, well done Daryl,it sure is a fantastic model both in the detail and correct colour shade.

Love the van Eamonn.

Thanks lads for your comments-it's much appreciated, At the moment I'm familiarising myself with the layout, which I'm enjoying, My first purchase was the iconic blue/grey HST, Here is a staged shot of it passing the freight depot and down loop-a five piece formation as I'm waiting for a TGS and buffet car to complete the rake.

Good evening lads, With thanks to Wayne and the guys at Wexford MRC,I was able to purchase the Ashburton Grove N gauge layout, I was impressed with its operation at the recent exhibition and as the layout had been for sale I decided to buy it, This is my first venture into the N Gauge market but I have driver301 to thank for his inspirational N Gauge layouts namely Wellington bheag,Carlow and currently Connolly Stn, I intend this layout to be in the BR blue era-1970s-late 1980s-my first purchase being a blue/grey HST.

I attended this wonderful exhibition today and if you have the time tomorrow I would highly recommend a visit, Great to see Macmine junction in action along with Rathmichael, and many others, Delighted to meet up with many of the IRM members too, Bargains galore to be had from the various trade stands, I picked my models of the SP 111 expressway buses off Brian Collins-a credit to you Brian,Plus an unexpected purchase of which will be revealed in due course....!! Tara mines train in action on Josephs bridge. Rathmichael. -

Evening gents, thank you for all your kind comments, I have uploaded a video of the MPV 100 to my YouTube channel, However in the meantime 0117080 is seen here hauling failed 0117076 out of the siding at the station before running around and hauling it for attention to the MPD. In the background NIR blue liveried 208 works an evening stopping service thru the junction.

Afternoon gents,a Sunday afternoon on the junction sees various 141/181,071 locos stable on the MPD until their next turn of duty, From the left we have CIE 084,088,IE187,behind that IR 080,IE 146 and CIE 161. Some overnight signal replacement also took place, The original signal TJ 50 has been replaced by twin signals to control movements from the bay platform and the new platform loop road, Loco 073 is seen here passing the new signal TJ 60 and TJ 61 while exiting from the platform with a stopping service formed by a Mk3 set.
