  1. No you just get the body. I was able to use the surplus plastic from the Jim Poots KE Bus Kit but you have to cut it to fit.
  2. Here's the link: https://www.shapeways.com/product/5W9TEG9TG/401-8-cie-ss701-750-4mm-scale?li=search-results-1&optionId=2653307
  3. Pickup two bus kits last year but only getting round to building them now. SS Class School bus and a KE Class bus. Many thanks to ttc0169 for his painting advice on the School Bus. Weshty provided the decals. The KE bus is drying after spraying with lacquer to fix the decals and then I'll install the glazing, not one of my favorite jobs.
  4. Missed your previous post, love the Shed, the layout is really maturing.
  5. Some interesting building on your layout.
  6. Thanks for the Stats Stephen. I would be very interested in the number of Site Members who contributed again the total number of members who viewed.
  7. 2016 and I'm cutting up part of the layout. But it's for a good cause. This is a Dawson Hall kit for Antrim Signal Cabin done in UTA colours. The roof is still detachable at this stage as I want to detail the interior. Meanwhile at a different time and location a Woolwich K1 is heading for Clonmel with some Fuel Oil.
  8. Just got my copy of Irish Railway Rambler. The book is just full of pictures and some very unusual ones. Where else would you see 019 in 201 livery, 124 in 'Tippex' livery with GREEN Stripes, 'Tippex' vinyl(not paint)stripes been applied to Mk II coaches, Work Shop pictures and a good section on NIR. There are chapters on the different locomotives, coaches and Railcars. This is one book I'll be taking down from the book shelf again and again.

Sad news, it was people like him that has left us with the railway heritage we have now.
  10. Time consuming Richard but look at the results. Looking forward to seeing it painted.
  11. A superb build David and one you are entitled to be very proud off. I do envy your building skills.
  12. Very tempted to get RTR Irish Steam Loco.
  13. If you try Colourpoint direct, I'm sure they would ship to your location. http://colourpoint.co.uk/contact.php
  14. PROJECTS REVIEW 2015 A review of my Projects for 2015 Jan - Mar Apr - Jun July Aug - Sept Oct - Dec
  15. Some coach movement in Clonmel area with Bredin's very much in evidence. Thanks for looking and a Happy New Year to All
  16. Thanks for the heads up on this book, just placed my order.
  17. I did the seating the same colour as the other Bredin I've built and I think it was a certain knowledgeable Gentleman on this Site who covered the seating colouring in one of his many Epistles on liveries.
  18. Noel, John has adapted his coach sides to fit the Dapol 60' LMS coach kits.
  19. Three coaches made from the excellent sides from JM Designs. The details on these sides are superb and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is interested in building Irish Railway coaches. As usual John provides very detailed instructions. Bredin Brake Standard Open No. 1906 Bredin Standard Open No.1360 Brake Standard Steam Generator Van No. 3210TL
  20. This layout continues to ooze atmosphere and it’s the attention to details on the buildings lifts it into the superb category. Being located in the confines of a roof space provides an extra challenge and I was wondering how you are going to address the problem of providing a ‘background’ to hide the rafters and foil roof covering?

    Sulzer Kit

That's a good tip, thanks for sharing.
  22. Delighted with your suggestion. It's a daunting but very worthwhile project especially when you consider one carriage could have five different livery's or more in its lifetime. Could I suggest you take a loco, coach or wagon in turn and asked for what you need. It strikes me as the makings for a great reference book.
  23. More please.
  24. A hive of activity, the new layout is maturing well. You always have to study your pictures well or you would miss some of the excellent detail you add Noel.
