  10. A very Happy Christmas too one and all in what has been a very difficult year for us all , the arrival of the long awaited 121 class from Paddy Murphy has certainly given everyone a lift along the arrival of more products from IRM like the Gypsum has also provided a lift to the spirits . As we look forward to a better 2021 and the arrival of the A class hopefully they will arrive when we will be starting to feel the beginning of the end of Covid . Stay safe everyone.

  14. I received two 121 class yesterday very well packaged from the UK one has a broken Vacuum Pipe , I also have another one with a broken pipe received from a Irish supplier ,this is only a minor issue would be great if some replacements could be made available at some stage .
  15. Paul Bigland Photography | Ireland: The last 121s railtour (zenfolio.com) here is an album if you go to the last page there is some very good cab interior photos
  16. Not too sure about the exact sequence of lights but on the 121 the switches with 'Front' referred to the bonnet end the switches marked 'rear ' referred to the cab end.
  17. When its all boiled down to gravy come the 1st Jan 2020 , 27 countries will loose one trading partner (some bigger than others ), but one country is going to loose 27 trading partners I don' t think a lot of UK citizens are fully aware at the gravity of Brexit even with a deal there is no winners in this .
  18. I think this will be the call all over the EU avoid buying anything from the UK nothing personal it’s business, even if the suppliers don’t charge UK VAT and it’s added on arrival in ROI the inconvenience of having to pay again is too much hassle, I don’t think the ordinary UK citizens will fully grasp the loss of all this business until it’s too late.
  19. There is Acetone free nail polish remover but again I reiterate use caution and unless your 100% Confident don't do anything to the model !
  20. That's why I advise Caution ! Even with T Cut do a small test piece and go very easily with some on a cotton bud using Caution .
  21. The simple answer is very carefully with nail polish remover a very tiny amount to test at first , then apply the new decal using decal the operative word is caution .
  22. The side numbers were highlighted with black on the the Supertrain era locos, it's not the end of the world what matters is the colour which seems to be spot on and for the purists amongst us Railtech transfers do a set for the 121's and its not rocket science to change them .
  23. Are you trying to give us all heart attacks I was about to ring the IMF for a bailout!! phew !! at least we can get a financial breather between now and May .
