Hi Peter, Washes and powders are fine normally, but because of the layered finish of the print, you need to be a little more cautious when using them. Powders can be less forgiving on rougher surfaces, and are also prone to staining a model when trying to remove them, if you've gone overboard with the application.

That yard is getting close to capacity, Rob. You'll have to apply for planning permission if this keeps up!

This is without doubt, the most impressive model build I have seen on here. The size, detail, everything about it is top quality.

Brilliant stuff, Noel.

Yep, she's a large unit, Dave. My Dad is big into this scale. He recently picked up a skeletal trailer and 40' Hamburg Sud container for it. The detail on the container alone, is out of this world.

Coming along nicely. That's an impressive area of space you have to work with. Enjoying watching this progress.

Definitely worthy of skipping the queue.

Evening guys, Not railway related, more for the few on here that are into their trucks. 1:18 scale DAF 3600 Space Cab.

Love it. The arrival into Heuston is spot on. Always preferred the look of the Mk3's with the 201 class.

Good stuff. They're a fantastic wagon. I'm sure it won't be long before you have them weathered up

That's a little more than productive, that's amazing! I'm still trying to get back amongst the pile that has been sitting on the bench over two years now.

Don't encourage him. He'll be out with a ladder the next time. -

Delete none of them. Great to have a thread with various containers, pictured from different positions. This, I really like... -

Going by the name. Probably had a short lived career in the "adult " film industry, before making the move into transport. -

Beautiful looking model, Noel. The SD40-2 has always been a firm favourite of mine, but the 70ACe has surpassed it recently. It's an absolute beast of a locomotive. -
Better late than never. Some shots from October's Western Liner railtour. Credit as always to the RPSI. Another very enjoyable day out.

Fantastic stuff. Really coming together now. Sometimes the interior of a building can be overlooked, but this just proves it's always worth the extra effort. Love this shot. The view captures the fertiliser bags but also the H beams. Great work.
