  1. Looks great, Noel. That has really improved what was already a fantastic model. I ordered two sets of these a few years back. But after numerous broken promises, gave up in the end. Pity.
  2. Must of had an "accident."
  3. Brilliant stuff. Looks the business.
  4. As I said, it's a personal choice, and if someone wants something that much, fair play to them. I can think of worse things to be spending it on.
  5. Got to agree Mr D. They are all great models, but nowhere near what some are forking out for them. It's none of my business what someone wants to spend their hard earned on, and I understand people missed out when these were released first, but personally, I just wouldn't pay it. I think the most I paid for an 071 in the past was €170, to a member on here. And even then, they were getting harder to pick up.
  6. HINO! Savage stuff.
  7. Right, this is just getting weird now.
  8. Well, other than you referring to them as peat briquettes numerous times. And the Lima version.. a door stop, if I'm not mistaken.
  9. Ah yes, the classic combo. I'm well known for my love of both at family gatherings. Although, anyone standing within two feet of me tend to disperse as the night goes on. Can't think why.
  10. What a great shot of B141 arriving.
  11. Lovely model, Noel. I've got the older DAF with the refrigerated trailer. Must keep my eye out for this.
  12. As far as I can remember, the kit is designed to have working hinges. I've just added these as a cosmetic detail.
  13. Decided to add a little more detail to my SSM crossing gates, earlier today. First job, was to cut four new pillars to the size required. Supports and hinges were then added to two of the four pillars. Then, it was on to painting. Job done.
  14. That's an impressive collection of BELL containers, Noel.
  15. Class shot, Jonathan. Love it.
  16. Looks great with the Ballast wagons.
  17. Fantastic result. Loving the small details added. The redundant point rodding and trunking look the business.
  18. Nice weathering on the 121, Jonathan. Another, from @Dempsey?
  19. That just looks, so right. Really bulks up the appearance of the loco. Very impressive.
  20. These are seriously tasty. I'll definitely be banging an order in. Hopefully, you're right, Dave. We might just be edging closer to the Holy Grail of two-tone 90's Dublin Bus. Jasus, I've visions of where it could go from there. Let's just say, I've soiled myself thinking about it.
  21. Have to say, the ferts look really well behind the A class. They're made for each other.
  22. All wagons carried patches like that, at one time or another. Usually, it would be seen where a running or works number was painted over and applied elsewhere. I'd assume it's the same in this case.
  23. Fantastic stuff, Rob. Love the attention to detail.
  24. That's a seriously impressive collection of buses. Some absolute gems in there.
