Received my copy in the post this morning. Some lovely stuff in there. Apart from the obvious, which for me is locos and rolling stock, there's some excellent shots of the various goods sidings and yards used throughout the period. These are invaluable when it comes to modelling. Anyone else notice the Shales carrying the blue, looks to be quite similar to the original Tara's. Have to say, they look the business in that colour, and was a new one on me. I'll have to sit down over the weekend with a can of the black stuff, and have a proper read of this. Another excellent release, Jonathan.

That's a very handy step by step guide. Nothing over complicated and straight to the point. Great finish, very realistic.

According to Murphy's website nothing has changed regarding the 201's. Still showing as late 2021 early 22. As for the Mk3's, that's anyone's guess. I don't count the months or days for the release of a model anymore. When they arrive, they arrive.

We're all entitled to our opinion, but have you got any 201's? I was never a fan of the prototype, but I've half a dozen of the model. Great detail, decent runners and have never given me any trouble. Not sure what the obvious inaccuracies you refer to are, but is any model perfect?
